The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

S.D. Torrens replaced C.A. Landers on Western Sea, trained by Ross O'Sullivan (Race 2)(Injured)
G. Brouder replaced Cian Cullinan on Thegoaheadman, trained by Mrs John Harrington (Race 2)(Stewards permission).
Mr. R James replaced Mr W.T. Cronin on Ricky Bobby, trained by John J. Walsh (Race 7)(Rider administration error).
R.P. Treacy replaced C.A. Landers on Barangarou, trained by Thomas Foley (Race 6)Injured).

305A Irish Stallion Farms EBF(Mares)Beg. S'ch

D.J. O'Keeffe, rider of Clancypantz trained by Michael Hourigan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was reluctant to race at the start.

R.A. Doyle, rider of Howaya Aoife trained by Gerard Keane, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung badly left.

D. Meyler, rider of Trees Valley trained by W.J. Burke, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung right late on.

305C Thurles (Mares) M'dn H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Beret Rouge, trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal. Samples were taken for analysis.

305D Leugh H'cap H'dle

G.A. Kingston, trainer of King Con (FR), reported to the I.H.R.B. Veterinary Officer that his charge was found to have blood at both nostrils post race.

305E He'llberemembered H'dle

The Stewards enquired into possible interference inside the final 100yards involving Rightplacerightime, ridden by L. Quinlan, placed second and The Bosses Oscar, ridden by G. Brouder, placed first, where it appeared interference had occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the Judge's placings. Furthermore, the Stewards were satisfied that any interference caused was accidental and therefore took no further action. Mr. N.P. Lambert, Chairman of the Stewards absented himself from this enquiry and Mr. John McStay acted as chairman.

305F Premier County Mares H'cap H'dle

The Stewards interviewed M.P. Fogarty, rider of Flamin Aimee, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that M.P. Fogarty was in breach of Regulation 10.3(g)(frequency). Having taken his previous record in this regard into account, the Stewards suspended M.P. Fogarty for 6 racedays.

B. Hayes, rider of Pat's Pearl trained by John C. McConnell, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled and was pulled up thereafter.

305G Munster INH Flat Race

The Stewards received a report from the Clerk of the Scales, Mr. P.L. Malone, that Mr. J.M. Burke, rider of Popular Lane, had presented himself to weigh out at 2 lbs overweight which was not declared at declaration time. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who accepted that this was the case. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards allowed the overweight on this occasion but were satisfied that Mr. J.M. Burke was in breach of both Rule 195 and Rule 198 and having considered his record, they issued a fine of €150 on this occasion.

W.J. Burke, trainer of Pope Liam, reported to the Office of the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board that his charge had a respiratory infection post race.
