The Stewards fined W.T. Farrell, trainer, €65 for fitting the incorrect equipment to Santorini Sun, on entering the parade ring.

120D H'cap

M.C. Grassick, trainer of Eadbhard, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his charge pulled a shoe in running.

120F Sligo Races Hospitality H'cap

The Stewards enquired into an incident before the turn into the straight involving A Smooth Criminal, ridden by R.P. Whelan, Zeb City, ridden by R. Aguiar, Sunnyhill Lad, ridden by K.J. Leonard, Wichita Line, ridden by G.F. Carroll, and Roses Queen, ridden by C.D. Hayes, where it appeared that Roses Queen fell on the flat and Wichita Line unseated G.F. Carroll. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned, except for C.D. Hayes who was unable to attend the enquiry due to being attended to by medical staff. He subsequently reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount caught a heel and fell. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence and the report, the Stewards took no further action.
