The Stewards fined the following trainers in respect of their non-runners:-

J. S. Bolger, trainer of Listening Mode (off feed) - €200
Aidan Anthony Howard, trainer of Archibald Thorburn (late withdrawal) - €200
Jane M. Foley, trainer of Carrickduff (late withdrawal) - €200

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

S, Foley rode Dark Conqueror (reserve), trained by Ms. Sheila Lavery (Race 2)
C. O' Donoghue rode Dolly Levi (reserve), trained by Edward Lynam (Race 6)

230A Irish Stallion Farms EBF M'dn

W.M. Lordan, rider of Calorific trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung right.

230B Foran Equine Irish EBF Auction Race

The Stewards ordered the withdrawal of Fortunate Max, trained by Anthony Mullins, for failing to lodge the passport in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90 (i).

230C Murray Ambulance M'dn

W.J. Lee, rider of Paved Paradise trained by Edward P.Harty, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount ran off the bend turning in.

230D(i) Eurona BriskNet H'cap (Division One)

The Stewards ordered the withdrawal of Procurator, trained by T.J. O'Mara, for failing to lodge the passport in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90 (i).

230D(ii) Eurona BriskNet H'cap (Division Two)

J.A. Heffernan, rider of Aubineau (USA), trained by John Joseph Murphy, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount took a false step in the back straight.

The Stewards enquired into the apparent improvement in form of Hatton Cross, trained by T.J. O'Mara, placed first compared with its recent form. Evidence was heard from the trainer concerned, who stated that his charge finished 14th in the Curragh on his previous run when beaten by 5 lengths and felt this was a good run. He stated that prior to this, his charge ran in an apprentice handicap here in Roscommon on good to firm ground which he felt was less than ideal and was also carried wide in this race. He concluded by stating that his charge appeared to appreciate the slower ground conditions in what he felt was a moderate race. Evidence was also heard from Mr. Mark Bird, Rules of Racing Handicapper, who outlined the animals previous form and felt today's win marked a significant improvement in form. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards noted the explanation offered.

230F Pyramid Bookmakers H'cap

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Dani's Boy, trained by P.A.Fahy, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

230G Sean Cleary Memorial H'cap

The Stewards fined A. Oliver, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Duchess Ravenwaves (GB), in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards ordered the withdrawal of Duchess Ravenwaves in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90 (iv).
