The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

Mr M.J.M. O'Sullivan replaced Mr E.P. O'Brien on Embracincurvacious, trained by Michael G. Kennedy (Race 7)(Injured)

010A Introducing Racing TV M'dn H'dle

At the request of the Stewards, J.W. Kennedy, rider of Ocean Voyage, trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was keen early on and jinked at the first hurdle. From thereon she settled and was kept towards the rear of the field and allowed to warm into her jumping and gain confidence. He added that the filly jumped the last three hurdles well and ran on past tired horses.

The Stewards fined Henry de Bromhead, trainer, €65 for failing to fit a tongue tie to Star Sapphire, prior to entering the parade ring.

C.D. Maxwell, rider of Magic Sea trained by Sarah Dawson, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung right throughout this race and never went forward.

010B Watch Racing TV Now H'cap H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Princess Mahler, trained by John J. Walsh, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be coughing post race.

T. Ryan, rider of Bog War trained by Liam P Cusack, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount slipped up on the way to the start.

A. McCurtin, rider of Princess Mahler trained by John J. Walsh, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount made a respiratory noise during this race.

010C Watch Racing TV Free Trial M'dn H'dle

Gerard Michael Hussey, trainer of William Wolf, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his charge made a respiratory noise during this race.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Lighthouse Warrier trained by Jonathan Sweeney was found to have blood on the nose as a result of exercise induced pulmonary haemorrhage.

Under the provisions of Rule 90, the Stewards allowed Pleasant Hill, trained by L.Young, to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the error identified in the certification of vaccinations would be corrected in accordance with Rule 91 within the timeframe specified.

010E Racing TV Novice H'cap H'dle

J.W. Kennedy, rider of Overbury Prince trained by Terence O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung badly left and did not jump fluently.

Anthony McCann, trainer of Wrap Star, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his charge has had a wind operation since this run

010F Racing TV On Vodafone TV H'cap H'dle

The Stewards interviewed D.P. Carroll, rider of Presenting Thewest, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that D.P. Carroll was in breach of R10 (3)(b) by hitting his mount unnecessarily after it's chance of winning or being placed was clearly gone. Having taken his previous record into consideration, the Stewards suspended D.P. Carroll for 2 racedays. Furthermore the Stewards ordered D.P. Carroll to attend R.A.C.E for one days tuition on the correct use of the whip.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Our Native Land trained by Barry T. Murphy was found to have blood on the nose as a result of exercise induced pulmonary haemorrhage.

B.J. Cooper, rider of Olive D'haguenet (FR) trained by I.Madden, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung badly left throughout this race.

010G I.S.F. EBF (Mares) INH Flat Race

The Stewards interviewed Mr M.J. O'Hare, rider of The Caddy Rose, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that Mr M.J. O'Hare was in breach of R10 (3)(c) by using the whip unnecessarily after his mount clearly had it's race won. Having taken his previous record into consideration, the Stewards suspended Mr M.J. O'Hare for 2 racedays.

The Stewards interviewed Mr M.J. O'Hare, rider of The Caddy Rose, concerning video evidence that showed he had used a mobile phone in the unsaddling area post race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who admitted the offence but claimed that he was handed the phone by Noel Meade, trainer, to talk to the owner of The Caddy Rose. Having considered the evidence the Stewards were satisfied that Mr M.J. O'Hare was in breach of R16 (Mobile telephones) and cautioned him having taken his clean previous record in this regard into consideration.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Fasola Tido, trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be blowing hard post race.
