252A Foran Equine Irish EBF Auction M'dn

The Stewards requested a report from K.J. Condon, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Lady Marengo, placed first, as compared with its most recent run. K.J. Condon stated that his charge did not handle the all weather surface in Dundalk on her previous run, however today's conditions were more comparable with her first run in Tipperary where she ran well. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the explanation offered.

252C Troytwn Bar H'cap

S.P. Davis, rider of Only Spoofing trained by Jedd O'Keeffe (in GB), reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was short of room when challenging.

A.J. Slattery, rider of Sors trained by Andrew Slattery, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount got a small bump inside the last half furlong.

252E Sequence Events H'cap

The Stewards requested a report from C.T. Keane, rider of Eight and Bob and J.A. Heffernan, rider of Conquest, regarding the fact that they were unseated from their mounts turning into the back straight. Both riders reported that their mounts slipped independently causing them to be unseated. Having considered the evidence and viewed a recording of the race, the Stewards noted the explanations offered and took no further action.

C.D. Hayes, rider of Comehere Hi trained by J.A. Nash, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount met with interference from fallers.

252F Gormanlough Apprentice H'cap

The Stewards enquired into an incident inside the first furlong involving Cache Queen, ridden by D.W. O'Connor, Lovely Is The Rose (USA), ridden by H.J. Horgan, Maewyn, ridden by S.M. Crosse, Bilboa Lane, ridden by K.K. Hennessy, Money In My Pocket, ridden by G.P. Brouder, Paddytheirishman, ridden by T.P. Madden, and Dawn Arrival, ridden by S.P. Davis, where it appeared that Dawn Arrival ran short of room on the rails causing the rider to be unseated. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that the incident was accidental in nature caused by general bunching and they therefore took no further action.

The Stewards informed Charles O'Brien, trainer, that Fake Media would have to be recertified before being declared to run from stalls again.

252G Irish EBF Supporting ICW Mdn

Under the provisions of Rule 90 (iii), the Stewards allowed King's Field, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the horse was correctly vaccinated in accordance with Rule 91.

G.P. Brouder, rider of Effernock Fizz trained by Miss Katy Brown, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung badly left turning in and up the straight.
