The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

303A Arkle Bar Median Auction M'dn

W.J. Lee, rider of Gustav Ucicky trained by Andrew Kinirons, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left for the first half of the race.

The Stewards interviewed S. Foley, rider of Lan Cinnte, concerning his use of the whip in closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he was in breach of the whip Regulation . Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found S Foley in breach of Regulation 10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his previous record they suspended him for three racedays.

303B Slane Nursery H'cap

D.J Gilligan, rider of In The Giving trained by J.A.Stack, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got upset in the stalls.

N.M. Crosse, rider of Thai Legacy trained by Kieran P. Cotter, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was a bit short of room coming down into the dip.

303C Book Discounted Tickets Apprentice H'cap

Sorcha Woods, rider of Creative Power trained by Edward Lynam, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount got upset in the stalls.

J.J.G. Ryan, rider of The Rabbit Catcher trained by T.G.McCourt, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right all the way.

Siobhan Rutledge, rider of Hot Whispers trained by Shane Nolan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount reared in the stalls.

P.A. Harnett, rider of Linus Larrabee, trained by Edward Lynam, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount stood in the stalls when the gates opened.

303D Troytown Chase Day Early Bird H'cap

James J. Doyle, rider of Mickey The Steel (GB) trained by Joseph Anthony Murray, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that he lost an iron close to the line.

303E NavanRacecourse.ie M'dn

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Young Ireland, trained by J. S. Bolger, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

303F Irish Stallion Farms EBF (Fillies) H'cap

C.D. Hayes, rider of Secret Pulse trained by D. K. Weld, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount jumped awkwardly.

303G1 The Yellow Furze H'cap

J.A. Powell, rider of Complete Fiction trained by Jarlath P.Fahey, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right throughout.

N.M. Crosse, rider of Classy Kate trained by Kevin Thomas Coleman, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got short of room in the straight.

G.M. Ryan, rider of Special Protector trained by Timothy Doyle, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount had to check coming out of the starting stalls.

The Stewards requested a report from John C. McConnell, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Noble Crusade (USA), placed third, as compared with its recent form. Mr. McConnell stated that the horse has benefited from a change in training regime in that the horse is now being trained from the field. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the content of the report.

303G2 The Yellow Furze H'cap

N.M. Crosse, rider of Derry Lad trained by Kevin Thomas Coleman, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right in the straight.

The Stewards interviewed N.M. Crosse, rider of Derry Lad, concerning his use of the whip in closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted the breach of the Regulation. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were satisfied that N.M. Crosse was in breach of R10.3(g)(frequency)and having considered his record, they cautioned him on this occasion.

S. Foley, rider of Aleksey Tolstoy trained by James McAuley, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount struggled on the soft ground.

Cillian McConnell, rider of Kartayaz trained by John C. McConnell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away.
