The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

S.M. Crosse replaced B.M. Coen on Sabrina Fairchild, trained by Sarah Lynam (Race 3)(injured)
S.M. Crosse replaced B.M. Coen on Tyrconnell, trained by Sarah Lynam (Race 4)(injured)
S. McCullagh replaced B.M. Coen on Frosty Beach, trained by D. K. Weld (Race 7)(injured).
A.C. Persse replaced W.T. Byrne on Slaney River Run (GB), trained by W.J. Martin (Race 4)(Stewards' permission).

211B Naas Family Fun Day Race

The Stewards fined John Joseph Murphy, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Mount McKinley, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards ordered the withdrawal of Mount McKinley in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90.

S.M. Crosse, rider of Latin Five trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount lost action.

S. Foley, rider of Nope trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount lost action.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Peace Charter (GB), trained by G.M.Lyons, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be lame post race.

211C2 Naas Racecourse H'cap

The Stewards interviewed W.T. Byrne, rider of Slaney River Run, following a report from Mr. W. Fleming, Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Clerk of the Scales, to the effect that W.T Byrne had presented to weigh out at an undeclared 2 lbs overweight in addition to his previously declared 2 lbs overweight (4 lbs in total). Evidence was heard from the rider concerned in the presence of Mr. W.J. Martin, trainer. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards did not allow the overweight and ordered the substitution of W.T. Byrne. The Stewards granted permission for A.C. Persse to ride Slaney River Run . In addition the Stewards were satisfied that W.T. Byrne was in breach of Rule 198. Having considered his record in this regard, the Stewards suspended W.T. Byrne for 3 racedays.

The Stewards interviewed D.N. Curran, rider of Phoenix Lightening, following a report from Mr. W. Fleming, Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Clerk of the Scales, to the effect that D.N. Curran presented at scales to weigh out at an undeclared 2 lbs overweight. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned in the presence of J.J. Feane, trainer. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards allowed the overweight however, were satisfied that D.N. Curran was in breach of Rule 198. Having considered his record in this regard, the Stewards suspended D.N. Curran for 2 racedays.

The Stewards informed F.Costello, trainer that An Cait Dubh, would have to be recertified before being declared to run from stalls again.

211D ISF EBF (Fillies) Median Auction M'dn

K.J. Leonard, rider of Feelfreetojumpin trained by R. K. Watson, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung left in the straight.

C.D. Maxwell, rider of Getawiggleon (FR) trained by David J. Geary, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung right throughout.

211E Kildare Post M'dn

The Stewards sought a report from T.P. Madden, rider, regarding the fact that he was unseated from Planet Venus while rounding the bend away from the back straight. T.P. Madden reported that his mount slipped, he got unbalanced and was unseated as a result. Having considered the report, the Stewards noted the explanation offered.
