Under the provisions of Rule 90, the Stewards allowed Red Epaulette, trained by M.D. O'Callaghan, to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the error identified in the certification of vaccinations would be corrected in accordance with Rule 91 within the timeframe specified.
056C Naas Racecourse Launches 2019 Flat H'capAt the request of the Stewards, B.M. Coen, rider of Arcanears, trained by M.Halford, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount reared up leaving the stalls.
056D Naas Business Club Madrid H'capThe Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages involving San Andreas, ridden by R.L. Moore and Barend Boy (GB), ridden by A.J. Slattery, where it appeared San Andreas momentarily ran short of room on the rail. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned in the presence of Andrew Slattery, trainer and master of A.J. Slattery. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards took no further action other than to advise A.J. Slattery to ride with more awareness in future.
The Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages involving Copia Verborum, ridden by K.J. Manning, Third World, ridden by C.P. Hoban, Wasntexpectingthat (GB), ridden by P. Hanagan and Crockford, ridden by W.M. Lordan. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that the incident was accidental and took no further action.
056G Tote Irish LincolnshireThe Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages involving Honor Oak, ridden by W.J. Lee and Karawaan, ridden by C.T. Keane, where it appeared Honor Oak ran short of room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards took no further action.
The Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages involving Marshall Jennings, ridden by T.P. Madden, Shatharaat, ridden by W.M. Lordan and Ciao, ridden by C.D. Hayes. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that the incident was accidental and took no further action. Mr. John Weld, Acting Steward, absented himself from this enquiry.
056H Irish Stallion Farms EBF M'dnThe Stewards informed Kevin Prendergast, trainer that Sam Langford, would have to be recertified before being declared to run from stalls again.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Georgeville (GB), trained by D. K. Weld, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
