The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Kimy (FR), trained by Thomas Mullins, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined San Aer, trained by Thomas Mullins, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to need cooling on pulling up and an uneventful recovery thereafter.
Mr J.L. Gleeson, rider of The Names Jock, trained by John E. & Thomas Kiely, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount made a noise before the home turn.
041F Pertemps Network Group H'cap H'dleThe Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident after the final hurdle involving Patter Merchant, ridden by J. Smith, placed fourth, and Cato's Revenge, ridden by T. Power Roche, placed fifth, where it appeared contact was made. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. In his evidence J. Smith stated that he received contact from his right after the final hurdle. T. Power Roche stated that his mount was tired and rolled both ways after the final hurdle but felt he had corrected him sufficiently. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found T. Power Roche, was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly, and having considered his record in this regard (first offence) the Raceday Stewards suspended him for two racedays.
041G William Hill (Pro-Am) INH Flat RaceThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Spinningayarn, trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
Mr J.H. Williamson, rider of Spinningayarn, trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled.
041H Michael Purcell Memorial Novice H'dleThe Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident after the second last hurdle involving A Tipp For Gold, ridden by S.F. O'Keeffe, placed third, and Fleur In The Park, ridden by C.M. Quirke, placed fourth,and Joystick, ridden by P. Townend, placed second, where it appeared that they got close together after the second last hurdle. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

Due to rail alignments the Raceday Stewards granted permission for the distance of races one, two, four and six to be increased to 1 mile 7 furlongs and 149 yards. .
Prior to the running of race six the Raceday Stewards received a report from the Clerk Of The Course, Mr. Brendan Sheridan that following further heavy downpours he found the Chase course to be unraceable due to waterlogging. The Racedays Stewards therefore ordered the abandonment of races seven and eight.
