The Stewards informed A.J.Martin, trainer that Fascinating Spirit, would have to be recertified before being declared to run from stalls again.

Following riders' reports in the first and second races to the effect that the bend into the straight was slippy, the bend into the straight was found to be unfit for racing. The Stewards were satisfied to allow 5f and 6f sprints to proceed, however abandoned races 6 and 7 of this meeting due to a slippery surface on the bend into the straight. J.A. Heffernan, D.P. McDonagh and R.L. Moore, riders, and Mr. B. Sheridan, Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Clerk of the Course, were consulted prior to this decision being taken.

The following Raceday Stewards acted on behalf of the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board at this race meeting:

Mr. Justice P. McCartan,
Mrs. T.K. Cooper,
Mr. T. Breen,
