The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Maughreen, trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

145B Join Listowel Races Supporters Mdn H'dle

R.A. Doyle, rider of Diamond Jimmy, trained by Miss J.M.Lee, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran too free and jumped the inspection hurdle on the way to the start despite his best efforts. Having considered the report and reviewed the video evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

145C Eamon Foran Memorial M'dn H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that Ballyharney trained by Adrian Murray was found to have blood at both nostrils post race.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Kara Sacre (FR), trained by Paul Nolan, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

J. Smith, rider of Pistocchi (GB), trained by Brian M. McMahon, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was very difficult on the way to the start.

145D John Thomas McNamara H'cap H'dle

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident in the closing stages of this race involving A Nod To Getaway, ridden by Mr Alan O'Sullivan, placed first, and Lariat (GB), ridden by D.J Gilligan, placed second, where it appeared slight contact was made between the two. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

D.J Gilligan, rider of Lariat (GB), trained by Liam P Cusack, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount received a slight bump at the 100 yard marker.

145E Insurance Wise H'cap H'dle

K.C. Sexton, rider of Long Gone, trained by Declan Queally, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled and pulled up after two hurdles.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Long Gone, trained by Declan Queally, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be lame on its left hind post race.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed the riders first approach to the Starter in this race. Having viewed all the footage, they were satisfied that numerous horses were being difficult and therefore took no further action.

145F Cnoc An Óir H'cap H'dle

The Raceday Stewards interviewed R.P. Geoghegan, rider of Three Tribes, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he was in breach of the Whip Regulation and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that R.P. Geoghegan was in breach of R.10.3(b)(unnecessary use when out of contention) and having considered his clean record in this regard, they suspended him for two racedays.

145G Oliver Broderick (P-A) (F) INH Flat Race

The Raceday Stewards interviewed Anthony McCann, trainer, concerning the failure to nominate a rider before the designated time for Tonic (GB). Evidence was heard from the trainer who stated that he couldn't find a suitable rider due to the double meeting on today and apologised for his actions. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards allowed the nomination of Mr J.H. Williamson but found the trainer in breach of Regulation 3 and having taking his record into account, they imposed a fine of €100 on this occasion. In arriving at their decision, the Raceday Stewards took into consideration the double meeting that was on today.
