The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

D.E. Mullins rode Phoenix Princess (reserve) trained by Brendan Maurice Walsh (Race 1)
Mr E.P. O'Brien replaced Mr R.W. Barron on Desert Ian, trained by Miss M.Harding (Race 6)(injured)

149A Nora Canty (Mares) M'dn H'dle

K.E Buckley, rider of Sophia Rose, trained by Gavin Cromwell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was outpaced leaving the backstraight and stayed on one pace.

J.C. Gainford, rider of Tequila Talkin', trained by Paul Nolan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right up the straight.

149B John B. Keane (C&G) M'dn H'dle

Mr J.P. O'Rourke, rider of Coup D'etat, trained by P.O'Rourke, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount burst and pulled up. This was subsequently confirmed by the IHRB Veterinary Officer who reported the animal to have blood at both nostrils post race.

P.T. Enright, rider of Grove Gardens, trained by Eugene M. O'Sullivan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount finished lame. This was subsequently confirmed by the IHRB Veterinary Officer who reported the animal to be lame on its left fore post race.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that Heslostthehunger trained by Rodger Sweeney was found to be a gelding and not a colt as shown on the passport presented. Having considered the report, the Raceday Stewards fined the trainer €130 in accordance with the provisions of Rule 148(xii).

149C Southern Waste Management (M) H'cap Hdle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Letters To Juliet, trained by Patrick Downey, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be coughing post race.

Sam Ewing, rider of Katherine, trained by Adrian Sexton, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount raced freely.

149F Beasley Engineering Hunters S'chase

The Raceday Stewards approved the amended distance of this race to two mile, seven furlong, one hundred and fifty yards due to operational reasons.

149G Bryan MacMahon (Pro-Am) INH Flat Race

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident turning into the backstraight involving Additional Time, ridden by Mr F.R. Buckley, unplaced, No Pockets (GB), ridden by Mr M.J. O'Connor, placed fifth, and Orinoco Walk, ridden by Mr B. Barry, placed fourth, where it appeared interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Mr M.J. O'Connor stated that Additional Time came across in front of him and he didn't have time to react. Mr F.R. Buckley stated that his mount hung left despite his best efforts. Mr B. Barry stated that he maintained his racing line. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Additional Time, trained by John C. McConnell, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

Mr F.R. Buckley, rider of Additional Time, trained by John C. McConnell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung badly left all the way and had to stop riding to keep him straight.
