260A Ballylinch Stud Irish EBF Ingabelle Stks

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Pronouncement (USA), at the request of trainer, J.P. Murtagh, and reported the animal to be lame on her right foreleg post race.

S. Foley, rider of Punita Arora trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was slowly away from the starting stalls.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Raven's Cry, trained by P. Twomey, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

At the request of the Stewards, W.J. Lee, rider of Raven's Cry, trained by P. Twomey, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount missed the break and was outpaced during the race.

260B Irish Stallion Farms EBF 'Petingo' H'cap

At the request of the Stewards, J.A. Heffernan, rider of Barbados, trained by A.P.O'Brien, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was checked when dropping back out of the race.

The Stewards enquired into possible interference in the latter stages of this race involving Buildmeupbuttercup (GB), ridden by C.D. Hayes, placed second and Kastasa, ridden by A.J. Slattery, placed first, where it appeared that Kastasa drifted towards Buildmeupbuttercup (GB). Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the Judges placings and took no further action.

260C KPMG Champions Juvenile Stks

The Stewards enquired into an incident in the area of the road crossing soon after the start involving Agitare, ridden by K.J. Manning, placed third, Cormorant, ridden by J.A. Heffernan, placed fifth, Howling Wolf, ridden by R.P. Cleary, unplaced and Sinawann, ridden by R.P. Whelan, placed second, where it appeared that Agitare may have received some interference. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were unable to apportion blame to any rider and took no further action.

260D Paddy Power Betting Shop Stakes

The Stewards enquired into an incident on the first bend involving Kelly's Dino (FR), ridden by B.A. Curtis, unplaced and Leo De Fury, ridden by S. Foley, placed fifth, where it appeared that Leo De Fury ran short of room, clipped a heel and stumbled. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that the incident was caused by B.A. Curtis riding carelessly. Having taken his previous record into consideration, the Stewards suspended B.A. Curtis for 1 raceday.

S. Foley, rider of Leo De Fury trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was tight for room on the first bend and stumbled.

The Stewards fined K.R.Burke (in GB), trainer, €65 for failing to fit cheek pieces to Kelly's Dino (FR), prior to entering the parade ring.

260E Coolmore 'Fastnet Rock' Matron Stakes

John M. Oxx, trainer of Skitter Scatter (USA), reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his charge was lame post race

R.P. Whelan, rider of Skitter Scatter (USA) trained by John M. Oxx, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount lost her action two furlongs from the finish.

The Stewards requested a report from Joseph Patrick O'Brien, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Iridessa, placed first, as compared with its recent run in the Group 1 Kerrygold Irish Oaks. Joseph Patrick O'Brien reported that the Curragh race was run over 1 mile 4 furlongs where the early pace was steady and the race turned into a sprint in the straight. Today she was dropped back in trip to 1 mile, a distance over which she had previously gained Group 1 success. In his opinion this was the contributing factor to her improved performance. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the content of the report

260F Clipper Logistics Boomerang Stakes

K.J. Manning, rider of Ancient Spirit (GER), trained by J. S. Bolger, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount ran too keen in the early part of this race and tired in the straight.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Lancaster House, trained by A.P.O'Brien, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be lame on his left foreleg post race.

The Stewards wished to interview W.J. Lee, rider of Space Traveller (GB), concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. W.J. Lee accepted that he had three or more previous breaches of R10(3) since the new whip Regulations came into effect. Having considered the rider's acceptance of his disciplinary record in relation to R10(3), the Stewards pursuant to R10(6) referred the matter to the Referrals Committee for consideration

260G QIPCO Irish Champion Stakes

Under the provisions of Rule 90, the Stewards allowed Deirdre (JPN), trained by Mitsuru Hashida (in JPN), to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the error identified in the certification of vaccinations would be corrected in accordance with Rule 91 within the timeframe specified.

260H Ir.Stal.Farms EBF 'Sovereign Path' H'cap

S. Foley, rider of Klute trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount lost his action about two furlongs out and felt lame but returned sound to the unsaddling area.

C.D. Hayes, rider of Innamorare, trained by Gavin Cromwell, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount caught heels twice in the early part of this race and checked on both occasions.
