The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

262A Ballylinch Stud Irish EBF Ingabelle Stks

The Stewards reviewed an incident as the horses broke from stalls where it appeared that Pennine Hills went left. Having viewed the video footage the Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

The Stewards enquired from S.M. Crosse, rider of Voice Of Angels (GB) who was unseated early in this race. The rider reported that his mount clipped a heel independently unseating him, but added that nobody was at fault. Having considered the report and viewed a recording of the incident, the Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

S.W. Kelly, rider of Breeze Easy (GB) trained by David Evans (in GB), reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount met with interference after the start.

W.J. Lee, rider of Limiti Di Greccio trained by P. Twomey, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was impeeded by the loose horse.

D.P. McDonogh, rider of Pennine Hills trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount jumped left out of the gates.

262B Irish Stallion Farms EBF 'Petingo' H'cap

C.D. Hayes, rider of Layfayette trained by Noel Meade, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount ran short of room.

K.J. Manning, rider of Flying Visit trained by J. S. Bolger, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount met with interference early on.

O.J. Orr, rider of De Name Escapes Me trained by Noel Meade, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount met with interference after about a furlong.

J.A. Powell, rider of Sevenna Star trained by Emmet Mullins, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled.

262C Coolmore America 'Justify' Matron Stakes

The Stewards enquired into possible interference inside the final furlong involving Champers Elysees, ridden by S.B. Kelly, placed sixth, Flirting Bridge, ridden by C.D. Hayes, unplaced, Mother Earth, ridden by R.L. Moore, placed third, No Speak Alexander, ridden by S. Foley, placed first and Shale, ridden by G.M. Ryan, unplaced, where it appeared interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. S.B. Kelly stated that he had to sit for a stride but it made no difference to his finishing position. C.D. Hayes stated that his horses run was finished when he had to check. R.L. Moore stated that he received strong pressure from his outside. S. Foley stated that his mount leaned left when he used his whip but he corrected her as soon as he was able. G.M. Ryan stated that the horses on his outside interfered with his run and he had to check. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the judges placings. However, they did find S. Foley in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly and considering his record they suspended him for 5 racedays.

S. Foley, rider of No Speak Alexander trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount leaned left under pressure.

G.M. Ryan, rider of Shale trained by Donnacha Aidan O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount got badly hampered.

Ms. Sheila Lavery, trainer of Belle Image, reported to the Clerk of Scales that she found her charge had pulled a front shoe post race.

262D KPMG Champions Juvenile Stks

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Maritime Wings, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

D.P. McDonogh, rider of Buckaroo (GB) trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his was mount slowly away.

M.A. Gallagher, rider of I Am Magic trained by M.D. O'Callaghan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount raced keenly.

262E Irish Champion Stakes

The Stewards enquired into possible interference in the straight involving Tarnawa, ridden by C.T. Keane, placed second and St Mark's Basilica (FR), ridden by R.L. Moore, placed first, where it appeared interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. C.T. Keane stated that his ground was continuously taken by St Mark's Basilica and felt that it cost him the winning of the race. R.L. Moore stated that while his horse did drift, he felt his horse was always holding Tarnawa and did not improve his position as a result. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that while interference did occur it did not affect the judges placings. However, the Stewards were satisfied that R.L. Moore was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly and considering his record they suspended him for 1 raceday. Mr. Peter N. Reynolds absented himself from this enquiry.

262F Clipper Logistics Boomerang Mile

The Stewards enquired into an incident in the straight involving Maker Of Kings, ridden by C.T. Keane, placed fifth and Real Appeal (GER), ridden by S. Foley, placed first, where it appeared Maker of Kings received interference. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. C.T. Keane stated that he received interference from his outer. S. Foley stated that his mount went left under a strong drive. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that S. Foley was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly and considering his record, they suspended him for 3 racedays.

The Stewards reviewed an incident early in the straight involving Current Option, ridden by R.P. Whelan, unplaced, Real Appeal (GER), ridden by S. Foley, placed first and Erzindjan, ridden by O.J. Orr, unplaced, where it appeared interference may have occurred. Having viewed the recording of the incident and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

S. Foley, rider of Real Appeal (GER) trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount ran around a bit in the straight.

262G Paddy Power Stakes

S.B. Kelly, rider of Earlswood (GB) trained by J.P. Murtagh, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount ran into the back of the injured horse.
