S. Foley, rider of Satin (GB) trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right in the straight.

269B Ir.Stal.Farms EBF 'Sovereign Path' H'cap

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined That's Just Dandy, trained by Mrs John Harrington, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

M.P. Sheehy, rider of Sirjack Thomas trained by Adrian McGuinness, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount received pressure from the outside for the first couple of furlongs.

S. Foley, rider of That's Just Dandy trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got very tight after a furlong.

D. McMonagle, rider of Pierre Lapin trained by Adrian McGuinness, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slow from the gates.

269C KPMG Champions Juvenile Stks

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Tower Of London, trained by A.P.O'Brien, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Stewards interviewed G.M. Ryan, rider of Alder, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted that he was in breach of the regulation and apologised. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, including photographic evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that G. M. Ryan was in breach of Regulation 10.3.f, excessive force and having considered G. M. Ryan's record in this regard the Stewards cautioned him on this occasion.

269D Paddy Power Stakes

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Point King, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

269E Royal Bahrain Irish Champion Stakes

The Stewards interviewed J.A. Heffernan, rider of Stone Age, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who stated that he used his whip above shoulder height as the horse beside him was so close but accepted that he was in breach of the regulation and apologised. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, including photographic evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that J. A. Heffernan was in breach of Regulation 10.3.f, excessive force and 10.3.h, arm above shoulder height. Having considered J. A. Heffernan's record in this regard the Stewards suspended J. A. Heffernan for three racedays.

The Stewards interviewed C. Soumillon, rider of Vadeni (FR), concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, including photographic evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that C. Soumillon was in breach of Regulation 10.3.f, excessive force. Having considered C. Soumillon's record in this regard the Stewards cautioned him on this occasion.

269H Irish Stallion Farms EBF 'Petingo' H'cap

The Stewards fined Matthew J. Smith, trainer, €65 for fitting blinkers to One Cool Poet which had not been declared and ordered it’s removal.

R.P. Cleary, rider of Moracana trained by Ms. Sheila Lavery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount lugged a little bit left.

D. McMonagle, rider of One Cool Poet trained by Matthew J. Smith, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was checked at the bottom of the straight.
