The Stewards fined the following trainers in respect of their non-runners:-

276A Gowran Park For Golf Race

W.J. Lee, rider of Marcher Lord trained by W. McCreery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left in the straight and he used his whip down the shoulder in the forehand position on one occasion for corrective purposes.

J.A. Powell, rider of Pretty Rebel trained by Gerard O'Leary, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right in the straight.

276C Irish Stallion Farms EBF (C&G) M'dn

The Stewards enquired into an incident a furlong down involving Cant Catch Camacho, ridden by G.P. Brouder, Covent Garden, ridden by W.M. Lordan, Long Count, ridden by K.J. Manning, and Mister Mister (GER), ridden by D. McMonagle where it appeared that Mister Mister drifted towards the inside rail. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. W.M. Lordan, stated that he had to check of heels when Mister Mister came across him. G.P. Brouder, stated that he did not suffer any interference. K. J. Manning, stated that he did not suffer any interference. D. McMonagle, stated that he felt he was clear of his rivals on his inner, but did accept that his mount ducked in towards the rail before he pulled his stick into his right hand. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards found D. McMonagle was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly, and having considered his record in this regard, the Stewards suspended him for 1 racedays.

R. Whearty, rider of International Lady trained by Kevin Michael Smith, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away from stalls.

Following a request from broadcasters, the Stewards granted permission for the following delays:
Race 5
+ 2 minutes.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Galleria Borghese, trained by A.P.O'Brien, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

S. Foley, rider of Paris Peacock trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount had a good look when she hit the front.

276F Supp. Irish Jockeys Fund Apprentice Hcap

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Zuhra, trained by J.P. Murtagh, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

D. McMonagle, rider of Sheer Chance trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away from stalls.

Amy Jo Hayes, rider of Dare To Flare trained by Andrew Slattery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount was slowly away.

The Stewards interviewed Amy Jo Hayes, rider of Dare To Flare, concerning her use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who accepted that she had used her whip excessively. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that the rider was in breach of Regulation 10.3(g)(frequency). Having taken her previous record in this regard into account, the Stewards suspended Amy Jo Hayes for 7 racedays and ordered that she attend R.A.C.E. for 1 day's tuition on the correct use of the whip.

L.T. McAteer, rider of Only For Me trained by Mrs.Jessica Magnier, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his saddle slipped coming to the line.
