212A Kenny Galway Volvo H'cap

J.M. Sheridan, rider of Church Mountain trained by Denis Gerard Hogan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung left throughout.

D. McMonagle, rider of St Cianans Fire trained by John C. McConnell, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was slowly away from the stalls.

W. Joyce, rider of In The Attic trained by Emmet Mullins, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount stood in the stalls when the gates opened.

D. McMonagle, rider of Mount Fairweather (GB) trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung left.

O.J. Orr, rider of Pride Of Derry (GB) trained by Ciaran Murphy, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount got no run in the straight.

212C Ardilaun Hotel H'cap

D.W. O'Connor, rider of Zahee, trained by John C. McConnell, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount ran short of room.

R.P. Cleary, rider of Double Kodiac trained by Leanne Breen, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount met with interference in the straight.

The Stewards enquired into an incident involving Zahee, ridden by D.W. O'Connor, unplaced, Double Kodiac, ridden by R.P. Cleary, unplaced, Eglish (GB), ridden by Adam Caffrey, unplaced, Lord Mczie, ridden by Conor Clarke, placed fifth and Eastern Racer, ridden by S.P. Davis, unplaced, where it appeared that Lord Mczie drifted left and interfered with several runners. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. D.W. O'Connor, stated that he suffered interference from his inside causing him to snatch up. R.P. Cleary, stated that he received a bump on his girth and was pushed wide. Adam Caffrey, stated that he received a bump from his right. S.P. Davis, stated that he received a bump from his right on the girth area which pushed him outwards causing a knock on affect. Conor Clarke, stated that his mount bumped the challengers on the outside while drifting left and accepted that he had used his whip on two occasions with his right hand without correction. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that Conor Clarke was in breach of Rule 214(careless riding) and having considered his record they suspended him for 3 racedays.

212D Irish Stallion Farms EBF 'Ahonoora' Hcap

O.J. Orr, rider of Stone Soldier (GB) trained by Archie Watson (in GB), reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount stumbled coming out of stalls unseating him.

R.P. Cleary, rider of Quizical, trained by Ms. Sheila Lavery, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount ran flat possibly as a result of running recently.

212E Irish Stallion Farms EBF (Fillies) M'dn

D.P. McDonogh, rider of Polar Peak trained by P.A.Fahy, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was hampered turning in and also reported that his stall appeared to close back in on top of him after initially opening.

R.P. Cleary, rider of The Fallen Madonna trained by Brendan W.Duke, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount missed the break.

212G1 Fr. Breen Memorial H'cap

Nikita Amelia Kane, rider of Allora Yeats trained by Miss Katy Brown, reported to the Clerk of Scales that her mount missed the break.

The Stewards enquired into an incident after rounding the final bend involving Insane Bolt, ridden by M.P. Sheehy, placed first and Moon Daisy, ridden by G.M. Ryan, placed third, where it appeared that Moon Daisy met with interference. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. G.M. Ryan, stated that his mount over reacted when Mr Sheehy moved outwards. M.P. Sheehy, stated that his was travelling very well and was forced to move to his left in order to avoid clipping heels. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards took no further action other than to advise M.P. Sheehy to ride with more care in future.

212G2 Fr. Breen Memorial H'cap

The Stewards interviewed Niall Amond, authorised representative for Mrs John Harrington, trainer, in relation to the running of her charge Social Distance on ground described as good with a description of yielding at declaration time after being withdrawn from yesterdays engagement with the same going description. Evidence was heard from the Mr. Amond, who stated that having walked the ground yesterday, Ms. Harrington felt that the ground had not dried out fast enough for her charge and her charge was therefore withdrawn. Today, however, having walked the ground, connections were satisfied that although the going was still officially described as good, it had dried out significantly and the trainer was happy for Social Distance to take up today's engagement. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards noted the explanation offered.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined No Thanks (GB), trained by Matthew J. Smith, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be coughing post race.

G.F. Carroll, rider of Firstman (FR) trained by A.J.Martin, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount met with interference about two furlongs out.
