028A Irish Stall. Farms EBF (M) Beg. S'chase

At the request of the Stewards, K.M. Donoghue, rider of Lar's Lass, trained by J.T.R.Dreaper, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount made a mistake at the third last fence and he lost his irons.

Edward Cawley, trainer of Cloudings Well, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his charge was showing signs of being in season post race.

028B Discover Meath H'cap S'chase

R.M. Power, rider of Wingin A Prayer trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was not moving right and was pulled up.

P. Townend, rider of Recite A Prayer trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left throughout this race and also made a respiratory noise in running.

The Stewards interviewed C.D. Timmons, rider of Nobody Home, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. In his evidence C.D. Timmons stated that his mount was off the bridle and kept responding but accepted that he had breached the whip regulations. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that C.D. Timmons was in breach of R10(3)(g) by using his whip with excessive frequency. Having taken his previous record into consideration, the Stewards suspended C.D. Timmons for three racedays.

028C Fairyhouse Easter Festival Rated S'chase

J.G. Gilligan, rider of Glamorgan Duke trained by Paul John Gilligan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount did not handle the ground.

J.M. Moore, rider of Ages Of Man trained by Anthony McCann, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount made a bad mistake at the third hurdle.

At the request of the Stewards, D.F. O'Regan, rider of Rock Ya Boy Ya, trained by Francis Casey, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount veered left on the approach to the last hurdle. .

P. Townend, rider of Gjoumi (FR) trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount raced a bit free.
