The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

S. W. Flanagan replaced R.A. Doyle on Capilano Bridge, trained by Conor O'Dwyer (Race 3)(Unwell).
J. M. Moore replaced R.A. Doyle on The Last Throw, trained by M.F.Morris (Race 6)(Unwell).

041C Tommy Carberry H'cap H'dle

S. W. Flanagan, rider of Capilano Bridge trained by Conor O'Dwyer, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount met with interference at the start.

B. Hayes, rider of Teescomponentsyess trained by John Joseph Hanlon, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount met with interference at the start. Having viewed a recording of the incident and considered the matter the Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

S.F. O'Keeffe, rider of Enniskerry trained by Barry Connell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran very keen.

041D Easter Festival 16-18 April H'cap Hdle

At the request of the Stewards, S. Fitzgerald, rider of Getaway Katie, trained by Shane Ryder, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount hung very badly.

K.M. Donoghue, rider of Deux Par Deux (FR) trained by Mrs Denise Foster, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Getaway Katie trained by Shane Ryder was found to have been struck into on its left hind.

041E Tote Bobbyjo S'chase

The Stewards interviewed J.C. Gainford, rider of Escaria Ten (FR), concerning his use of the whip. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted that he was in breach of the regulation and apologised. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were satisfied that J. C. Gainford was in breach of Regulation 10.3.d, the hitting of his mount after the winning post. Having considered his record in this regard the Stewards cautioned him on this occasion.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Burrows Saint (FR), trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

041G Ian Smith Memorial (Pro-Am)INH Flat Race

The Stewards received a report from the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer, that S.R.B. Crawford, trainer of Bellaney Lord had failed to correct a discrepancy in the passport within thirty days as outlined under Rule 90(v).
Having considered the report, the Stewards ordered the withdrawal of Bellaney Lord under the provisions of Rule 90(v) and using their powers under Rule 14, they fined S.R. B. Crawford €200.
