187C Irish Stallion Farms EBF Med. Auct. M'dn

O.J. Orr, rider of Natahoolababy trained by Noel Meade, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was squeezed after a furlong.

The Stewards enquired into an incident shortly after leaving stalls involving Cobb And Co, ridden by J.A. Heffernan, and Natahoolababy, ridden by O.J. Orr, where it appeared Natahoolababy checked. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards found the J.A. Heffernan in breach of Rule 214 by riding carelessly and having taken his record into account cautioned him.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined In The Present (USA), trained by Mrs John Harrington, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

187D Fairyhouse For Fundraisers H'cap

The Stewards received a report from Mr. W. Fleming, Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Clerk of the Scales, regarding the fact that D.N. Curran, rider of Theweehard, presented himself to weigh out at 2lbs overweight which hadn't been declared as required under Rule 195. The Stewards granted permission for the rider to weigh out at 2lbs overweight at this stage. At the subsequent enquiry the rider explained that he had fully expected to be able to do the weight but on the day he had been unable to get down to the required weight. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that the rider was in breach of Rule 198 (vii) (a) and having taken his record into account, imposed a fine of €150.

187E Follow Fairyhouse On Social Media H'cap

R. Coakley, rider of Turf Range trained by D.Broad, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran short of room up the straight.

The Stewards interviewed N.G. McCullagh, rider of Trueba, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found the rider in breach of Reg.10.3.(g)(frequency) and having taken his record into account cautioned him.

The Stewards interviewed G.F. Carroll, rider of Rita Levi, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found the rider in breach of Reg.10.3.(g)(frequency) and having taken his record into account suspended him for 2 race days.

187F The Irish Injured Jockeys H'cap

B.M. Coen, rider of Ahlan Bil Zain (FR) trained by M.Halford, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hit a ridge after two furlongs and never travelled thereafter.
