The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

G.F. Carroll replaced R.P. Whelan on Lady Aristeia, trained by Tracey Collins (Race 5)(Stewards permission)

313D Christmas Party Nights At Dundalk H'cap

C.T. Keane, rider of Maladh (GB) trained by Mrs Maureen Danagher, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount moved badly during this race.

313G1 H'cap

G.P. Brouder, rider of Wat Tyler (GB) trained by Donal Kinsella, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung right during this race.

The Stewards enquired into possible interference in the latter stages of this race involving Wat Tyler (GB), ridden by G.P. Brouder, placed fourth, Galuminous, ridden by R.P. Cleary, placed sixth and Tildas Icon, ridden by N.G. McCullagh, placed fifth, where it appeared that Wat Tyler hung towards the stands side when Galuminous and Tildas Icon were challenging on his outside. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the Judges placing's and took no further action. Mr. F. Cahill, Acting Steward, absented himself from this enquiry.

313G2 H'cap

P.J. Smullen, rider of Lizard Point trained by Patrick J.Flynn, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung badly to the right.
