The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident inside the final furlong where it appeared Letters Of Love, ridden by D. McMonagle briefly ran short of room. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

W.M. Lordan, rider of Shamanka, trained by Natalia Lupini, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was a bit messy in the gates.

The Raceday Stewards requested a report from C.W.J. Farrell, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Weegeebear, placed first, as compared with its most recent run. Richie Fagan, Representative for C.W.J. Farrell stated that he was unable to offer any explanation for his previous run but suggested that the fast pace today and passing horses may have contributed to the improvement in form. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted the explanation given.

048B Dundalk Winter Series Leading H'cap

The Raceday Stewards enquired into possible interference in the closing stages of this race involving Superior Force (GB), ridden by D.J. O'Connor, placed third, and Amemri (GB), ridden by L.T. McAteer, placed first, where it appeared interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. D.J. O'Connor stated that he thought Amemri was clear of him and they both went right. L.T. McAteer stated that his mount drifted right but he corrected her straight away. He further added he was clear of Superior Force. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards made no alteration to the Judge’s placings and were satisfied that no further action was warranted. D.J. O'Connor was accompanied by Kevin Borthwick at this enquiry.

J. Kearney, rider of Pink Oxalis, trained by Stephen Thorne, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount went right inside the last 200 yards.

L.T. McAteer, rider of Amemri (GB), trained by David Marnane, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran around in front.

C.D. Hayes, rider of Royal Tribute, trained by John C. McConnell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was very slowly away.

048C Floodlit Friday Nights At Dundalk H'cap

The Raceday Stewards enquired into possible interference in the closing stages of this race involving Velvet Skies, ridden by W.J. Lee, placed first, and Rattletheonionbag, ridden by C.D. Hayes, placed second, where it appeared interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. C.D. Hayes stated that the two horses met each other 75 yards out and that his filly was smaller than Velvet Skies and she got unbalanced. W.J. Lee stated that he kept a straight line and received a bump which turned his mount into Rattletheonionbag. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards made no alteration to the Judge’s placings and were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

J. Kearney, rider of Dream Today, trained by Stephen Thorne, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was keen early on.

W.J. Lee, rider of Velvet Skies, trained by Michael Mulvany, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount received a slight bump 80 yards out.

C.D. Hayes, rider of Rattletheonionbag, trained by W.P.Browne, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount received a bump from the winner 75 yards out.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Beauforts Storm, trained by Timothy Doyle, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

048E DundalkStadium.com Apprentice H'cap

The Raceday Stewards fined John C. McConnell, trainer, €65 for failing to fit the declared visor to Slowdownbarney, prior to entering the parade ring.

S. Coen, rider of Slowdownbarney, trained by John C. McConnell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount leaned right in the final furlong.

P.A. Harnett, rider of Rock Basher, trained by Shane Crawley, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was too free all the way.

J. Pietropaolo, rider of Tastyee, trained by David Kenneth Budds, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung badly right up the straight.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Mount Kilimanjaro (FR), trained by A.P.O'Brien, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

048H William Hill Proper Pricing H'cap

The Raceday Stewards fined Daniel James Murphy, trainer, €65 for failing to fit the declared blinkers to Tribal Moon, prior to entering the parade ring.
