340B I.S.F. EBF Median Auction (Fillies) M'dnThe Stewards enquired into an incident after turning into the home straight involving Banchory, ridden by K.J. Leonard, unplaced, Gypsy Dancer, ridden by R.P. Downey, unplaced and Sankari Del Reine, ridden by C.D. Hayes, unplaced, where it appeared that Banchory moved right causing Sankari Dei Reine to drift right into Gypsy Dancer. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that any interference caused was accidental and they therefore took no further action.
The Stewards enquired into the running and riding of Natahoolababy, ridden by G.M. Ryan, and trained by Noel Meade. Evidence was heard from the rider and trainer concerned. G.M. Ryan, stated that his instructions were to drop his mount in from the widest draw, to give her a chance to get organised and finish out her race well as she was very green on her previous run. Noel Meade, confirmed that these were the instructions given and expressed his satisfaction with the ride. The Stewards also received a report from the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer who stated that Natahoolababy was post race normal. Samples were taken for further analysis. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards noted the explanations given.

K.J. Leonard, rider of Frischs Joy trained by John C. McConnell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left throughout.
D.N. Curran, rider of Midnitemudcrabs trained by John James Feane, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was hampered turning into the home straight.
The Stewards interviewed P.A. Harnett, rider of Comhghairdeas, concerning the fact that he appeared to move across before reaching the marker poles. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered evidence from the rider, the Stewards found P. A. Harnett in breach of Rule 211. Having considered P. A. Harnett's record in this regard the stewards cautioned him on this occasion.
Sarah Lynam, trainer of Tyrconnell, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that her charge ran poorly and was coughing.

T.P. Madden, rider of Drombeg Duke trained by Augustine Leahy, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount did not move very well.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Drombeg Duke, trained by Augustine Leahy, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be lame behind when examined post race.
The Stewards interviewed B.M. Coen, rider of Major Power, concerning the fact that he appeared to move across before reaching the marker poles. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered evidence from the rider, the Stewards found B. M. Coen in breach of Rule 211 and having considered B. M. Coen's record in this regard they suspended him for one raceday.
340D www.dundalkstadium.com H'capThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Geological, trained by Damian Joseph English, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
D.P. McDonogh, rider of Freescape (GB) trained by David Marnane, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount leaned right for the last one hundred and fifty yards.
C.P. Hoban, rider of Raphael (GER) trained by Adrian McGuinness, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was hampered up the straight.
340F Happy Christmas From Dundalk Stadium MdnP.A. Harnett, rider of Ekanse, trained by Denis Gerard Hogan, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount hung left in the home straight.

T.P. Madden, rider of Royal Admiral trained by Adrian McGuinness, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran on to the heels of the horses in front of him.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Sam Missile, trained by Patrick J. McKenna, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be lame on l/f when examined post race. .
