The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

L.F. Roche, rider of Lunar Gold (GB) trained by Matthew J. Smith, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount lost his action after a furlong and again after turning in.

The Stewards interviewed P.A. Harnett, rider of Theriverrunsdeep, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he was in breach of the whip regulation. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found the rider in breach of Reg.10.3.(g)(frequency) and having taken his record into account suspended him for one race day.

J.A. Powell, rider of New Star trained by J.P. Murtagh, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount ran short of room in the straight.

S. Foley, rider of Ile De Circe trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount got tight for room when dropping back.

C.D. Hayes, rider of Basia trained by Gavin Cromwell, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount lugged right early and one and a half furlongs out.

The Stewards enquired into an incident in the straight involving New Star, ridden by J.A. Powell, Ile De Circe, ridden by S. Foley, Nyla Rua, ridden by J.J.G. Ryan, and Basia, ridden by C.D. Hayes, where it appeared New Star ran short of room and checked. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. J.A. Powell stated that he was following Ile De Circe waiting for a gap, he stated that there was never more than half a gap and he had to check. S. Foley stated that his mount drifted slightly from Basia and he corrected. J.J.G. Ryan, who gave his evidence in the presence of T.G. McCourt, stated that his mount was very green but he felt he kept her fairly straight. C.D. Hayes stated that his mount lugged a little right at which point he tried his best to correct her. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards attributed the incident to accidental interference and took no further action.

352D Irishinjuredjockeys.com (Fillies) M'dn

J.M. Sheridan, rider of Hermione's Angel trained by J.H. Scott, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was badly hampered by the injured horse.

G.P. Brouder, rider of Katelyn's Dream trained by Ian O'Connor, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung badly left in the straight and didn't move well.

B.M. Coen, rider of Cisne trained by John C. McConnell, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was badly hampered by the injured horse.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Katelyn's Dream, trained by Ian O'Connor, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Stewards enquired into an incident in the back straight involving Excelerina, ridden by K.J. Manning, La Bella Viva, ridden by R.C. Colgan, and Rockonmolly, ridden by Kieran Moody, where it appeared Rockonmolly pulled up quickly. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Kieran Moody stated that his mount became unbalanced and he pulled up. R.C. Colgan stated that he was following Rockonmolly when he heard a bang and saw that she was injured. K.J. Manning stated that he received slight interference but was otherwise unaffected by the incident. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards took no further action.

M.P. Sheehy, rider of Mna Na Mhi trained by Patrick Martin, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount broke slowly and ran very green.

S. Foley, rider of Rose Of Malta trained by P.F.O'Donnell, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount ran green in the straight.

352F Crowne Plaza Hotel Leading Jockey H'cap

D.P. McDonogh, rider of El Padre (USA) trained by Adrian Murray, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount received a bit of pressure on the bend.

W.J. Lee, rider of Takarengo trained by Thomas Mullins, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled.

W.M. Lordan, rider of Belgoprince (FR) trained by A.J.Martin, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount raced too keen.
