The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

The Stewards interviewed J.C. Canavan, rider of Percy Street Hero, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted that he was in breach of the regulation. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were satisfied that J. C. Canavan was in breach of Regulation 10.3.g, excessive frequency and 10.3.b, the unnecessary hitting of a horse after its chance of winning or being placed is clearly gone. Having considered J. C. Canavan's record in this regard the Stewards suspended J. C. Canavan for four racedays.

The Stewards fined Karl Thornton, trainer, €65, for fitting a tongue tie, which had not been declared at declaration time, to Intermedia prior to entering the parade ring.

The Stewards reviewed an incident shortly after the start where No Logic, ridden by Thomas Reilly, unseated his rider. Having considered the matter and viewed a recording of the race, the Stewards were satisfied that a fair start had been effected and that no further action was warranted

B. Browne, rider of You No Me Too Well trained by R. K. Watson, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount made an abnormal respiratory noise in running and was pulled up.

At the request of the Stewards, J.B. Kane, rider of Every River (GB), trained by W J Bryson, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount began to hang badly after the third last flight and was then pulled up lame.

The Stewards fined Gavin Cromwell, trainer, €65 for failing to fit the declared tongue tie to Bread And Butter, prior to entering the parade ring.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Where's Frankie trained by Karl Thornton was found to have blood at both nostrils post race.

097G Play Lotto On The App (PA) INH Flat Race

Mr P. Byrnes, rider of Suain Na Draoicht trained by R.P.Burns, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung left throughout.
