The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the home straight involving Jack The Bachelor, ridden by J. Kearney, unplaced, and Sup Of Red, ridden by R. Coakley, unplaced, where it appeared Sup Of Red may have clipped a heel. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. R. Coakley stated that his mount was leaning right up the straight causing him to run up on heels. J. Kearney stated that he slightly angled out for his run. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
168B Irish Stallion Farms EBF (Fillies) H'capR.P. Whelan, rider of Moral Turpitude, trained by Daniel James Murphy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right under pressure.
P.A. Harnett, rider of Where's Clare, trained by P.F.McEnery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount had to take a slight check turning in.
W.J. Lee, rider of Shoney, trained by W. McCreery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount had a slight look at the road.
The Raceday Stewards enquired into possible interference on the home bend involving Moral Turpitude, ridden by R.P. Whelan, placed second, Emerald Harmony, ridden by P. McGettigan, placed fourth, Where's Clare, ridden by P.A. Harnett, placed fifth, Shoney, ridden by W.J. Lee, placed third, and Aurora Nova, ridden by J.A. Powell, placed first, where it appeared interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. P.A. Harnett stated that his mount was weakening just before the road crossing and it got tight. W.J. Lee stated that he received pressure from his outside. P. McGettigan stated that his mount was intimidated from his outside. R.P. Whelan stated that he was clear of the incident. J.A. Powell stated that he maintained his racing line. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards made no alteration to the Judge’s placings and took no further action. Mr. H. Hynes recused himself from this enquiry and was replaced by Mr. A. Ring.
168C Future Ticketing x Kappture H'capR.P. Cleary, rider of Arctic Steps, trained by Miss Jennifer Anne Lynch, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount leaned left after the road crossing.
R.P. Whelan, rider of El Fontenaro, trained by Jarlath P.Fahey, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount received a bump towards the finish.
The Raceday Stewards enquired into possible interference in the closing stages involving Vanderbilt House, ridden by C. Geerdharry, placed second, and El Fontenaro, ridden by R.P. Whelan, placed fourth, where it appeared interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. R.P. Whelan stated that he received a bump towards the finish. C. Geerdharry stated that his mount was hanging despite his best efforts. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards made no alteration to the Judge’s placings and took no further action.
168D G Dunlop Electrical H'capM.W Hassett, rider of Mint Man (GB), trained by P.J.F. Murphy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right throughout.
S.A. Wallace, rider of Nouvel Espoir, trained by James M. Barcoe, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his saddle slipped approximately three furlongs from home.
P. McGettigan, rider of One More Wave (GB), trained by Noel C. Kelly, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stumbled leaving the stalls.
The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Patrick J.Flynn, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Surpass And Shine, placed first, as compared with its most recent run at Navan on the 7th of June. John O'Shea, Authorised Representative for Patrick J. Flynn reported that his charge had a bad draw the last day and things didn't work out thereafter. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted the explanation given.

168F Proparamedics Medicall H'capThe Raceday Stewards requested a report from Peter Lawlor, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Summer Snow, placed first, as compared with its most recent run at Leopardstown on the 12th of June. Peter Lawlor reported that his charge was unsuited by the soft ground last time out and that todays better ground may have helped to bring about the apparent improvement in form. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted the explanation given.
R.P. Whelan, rider of Bucaneer's Spirit, trained by Jack W. Davison, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount jumped left out of the stalls and stopped a furlong and a half down.
M.W Hassett, rider of Free Solo, trained by P.J.F. Murphy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount received interference as the stalls opened.
168G1 Laura Nicholas Memorial H'capThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that Alex Belardo trained by John C. McConnell was found to be a gelding and not a colt as shown on the passport presented. Having considered the report, the Raceday Stewards fined the trainer €130 in accordance with the provisions of Rule 148(xii).
D.W. O'Connor, rider of Alex Belardo, trained by John C. McConnell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung badly left from three furlongs out.
R. Donaghue-Leahy, rider of Harriet Eagle, trained by Patrick J.Flynn, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount ran into traffic.
J. Kearney, rider of Katie Ross, trained by Gavin Cromwell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got tight for room up the straight.
N.M. Crosse, rider of Shuyak, trained by P.J.F. Murphy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got no luck in running.

G.M. Ryan, rider of Saxon Kingdom, trained by Thomas Dowling, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got repeatedly bumped between the three furlong and two furlong pole.
W.J. Lee, rider of Bamako, trained by A. Oliver, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount received three significant bumps at the top of the hill.
L.F. Roche, rider of Akashaa, trained by Natalia Lupini, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got bumped all the way down the hill.
The Raceday Stewards enquired into possible interference at the top of the hill and rounding the home bend involving Purring Along, ridden by R.P. Whelan, placed first, Saxon Kingdom, ridden by G.M. Ryan, placed third, and Bamako, ridden by W.J. Lee, placed second, where it appeared that interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. W.J. Lee stated that he received three significant bumps from his inside which pushed his mount out further on the track. He further added that he felt this interference had cost him a place. G.M. Ryan stated that he received three bumps from Purring Along which pushed him onto Bamako. R.P. Whelan stated that his mount was hanging despite his best efforts. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were of the opinion that Purring Along had caused interference to Bamako and as a result of this interference had improved its finishing position. As a consequence, the Raceday Stewards amended the placings to read as follows:

Furthermore, the Raceday Stewards were of the opinion that R.P. Whelan was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly, and having considered his record in this regard (second offence), they suspended him for five racedays.
