The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

K. C. Sexton rode Courting Flow (reserve), trained by Peter Fahey (Race 1).
Mr. B. G. Crawford rode Largy Gift (reserve), trained by S.R.B. Crawford (Race 7)
D. P. Maxwell replaced S.A. Mulcahy on The Mooch, trained by Neill McCluskey (Race 6)(Unwell)

102D ITBA Supp. Northern Breeders (M) Hcp Hdl

R.A. Doyle, rider of Paula's Prayer trained by Conor O'Dwyer, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Paula's Prayer, trained by Conor O'Dwyer, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal. Samples were taken for further analysis.

102E Cosy Roof H'cap S'chase

The Stewards interviewed C.A. Landers, rider of Fly De Megaudais (FR), concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted that he was in breach of the regulation and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were satisfied that C. A. Landers was in breach of Regulation 10.3.g, excessive frequency. Having considered C. A. Landers record in this regard the Stewards suspended C. A. Landers for one raceday.

The Stewards interviewed S. O'Callaghan, rider of Carried, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted that he was in breach of the regulation and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were satisfied that S. O'Callaghan was in breach of Regulation 10.3.g, excessive frequency. Having considered S. O'Callaghan's record in this regard the Stewards suspended S. O'Callaghan for two racedays.

102F Molson Coors H'cap S'chase

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Our Friend trained by Paul Nolan was found to have blood at the right nostril post race, possibly as a result of a bad mistake at the second last.

102G Molson Coors INH Flat Race

The Stewards received a report from the Clerk of the Scales, Ms. C. S. Murphy, that Mr Pat Taaffe, rider of Tadhg R Liam, had weighed in ten pounds light. Ms. C. S. Murphy added that a lead cloth which had fallen from one of the runners, just before the finishing line, had been handed into the scales. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted that this was the case. Furthermore, he added that his girths had been checked at the start. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards disqualified Tadhg R Liam and as they could apportion blame to no individual they took no further action.
