The Stewards requested a report from Miss Susan A Finn, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Youceeyouceecee, placed first, as compared with its recent run. The trainer reported that her charge disappointed the last day at Naas on the 20th June in a better class of race over the same distance. She explained that her charge does not show much speed and got claustrophobic when bunched in a race run at a slow pace. She felt that today's race was run at a very strong pace and her charge seized an opportunity along the nearside rail to come from last place to first inside the final furlong. She also explained that her horses had been under a cloud but had recently returned to better form. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the content of the report.
