The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

P.E. Corbett rode Knockraha Pride (reserve) , trained by James Joseph Mangan (Race 5)
Mr. C.J. Orr replaced J.P. O'Sullivan on Viempa, trained by W.J. Martin (Race 5)(Unwell).

211A Follow Us On Twitter (Mares) M'dn H'dle

A. Ring, rider of Annie Irish trained by R.Donohoe, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount stopped quickly.

C.D. Maxwell, rider of Semper Fidelis (GB) trained by William J. McLernon, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount ran very green.

M.A. Enright, rider of Fox Dream (GB) trained by Augustine Leahy, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount did not stay.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Pocket Dial, trained by Mrs John Harrington, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be blowing hard post race.

G.N. Fox, rider of Moonball (FR), trained by Gavin Cromwell, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was free early on and got very tired.

P.E. Corbett, rider of Glamorous Gold, trained by N.Stokes, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was one paced, stayed on in the closing stages and needs further.

211B Irish Examiner H'cap H'dle

A.E. Lynch, rider of Babanango (FR) trained by A.J.Martin, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung to the left.

The Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages involving Feeling The Love, ridden by M.P. Walsh, placed first, Tikkanen Express, ridden by P.T. Enright, placed third and Babanango (FR), ridden by A.E. Lynch, placed second. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards took no further action.

211C Joe Walsh Memorial H'dle

J.S. McGarvey, rider of Gusty Rocky trained by Patrick J.Flynn, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount gurgled and he pulled up.

211D Adare Manor Opportunity M'dn H'dle

The Stewards interviewed L.P. Gilligan, rider of Rock On Aussie, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that L.P. Gilligan was in breach of Regulation 10.3(g) in that he had used his whip with the arm above shoulder height and Regulation 10.3(f) in that he had used his whip with excessive frequency. Having taken his previous record into account, the Stewards suspended L.P. Gilligan for 3 race days.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Fethard Flyer trained by W. F. Treacy was found to have blood at the nose following exercised induced pulmonary haemorrhage.

211E Mallow (Mares) H'cap H'dle

Under the provisions of Rule 87(vii)(b), the Stewards ordered the withdrawal of Mother's Best, trained by N.Stokes, as the animal had been vaccinated within 7 days prior to today's race.

P.E. Corbett, rider of Knockraha Pride trained by James Joseph Mangan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount clipped a heel and stumbled at the start unseating him. .

T. Ryan, rider of Euro So Brave trained by W.J.Austin, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount made a mistake at the third hurdle and never travelled thereafter.

The Stewards enquired from P.E. Corbett, rider of Knockraha Pride, who was unseated before the first hurdle in this race. The rider reported that his mount clipped a heel and stumbled unseating him. Having viewed a recording of the incident and considered the evidence, the Stewards took no further action.

211F Irish Stallion Farms EBF H'cap H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Black Label (GB), trained by Adrian McGuinness, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to have sustained a wound to his left fore, otherwise post race normal.

D.N. Russell, rider of Black Label (GB) trained by Adrian McGuinness, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount made a mistake in the straight on the first circuit, never travelled thereafter and was pulled up.

E.T. Daly, rider of Captain Cobajay trained by Paul Nolan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled.

211G Sales @ corkracecourse.ie INH Flat Race

The Stewards enquired into an incident turning for home involving Bobsfirth, ridden by Mr D. O'Connor and Buck's Billionaire (FR), ridden by Mr P.W. Mullins, where Bobsfirth fell on the flat. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the incident and considered the evidence, the Stewards were unable to apportion blame and took no further action.
