The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

D.F. O'Regan replaced D.N. Russell on Cats For Cash, trained by Gordon Elliott (Race 2)(Injury)
K.M. Donoghue replaced D.N. Russell on Count Simon, trained by Gordon Elliott (Race 3)(Injury)
L.P. Dempsey rode Wink Wink (reserve) , trained by J.P.Dempsey (Race 5)

210B Children Under 14 Race Free H'cap H'dle

The Stewards enquired into an incident in the straight involving Touch Of Gold, ridden by Mr M.J.M. O'Sullivan, and Hickey's Rock, ridden by Brendan Powell, where it appeared Touch Of Gold and Hickey's Rock collided at the second last hurdle and Hickey's Rock checked after being overtaken on the inner between the second last and last hurdle. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards advised Mr. M.J.M. O'Sullivan to ride with more care in future.

210C Joe Walsh Memorial H'dle

The Stewards enquired into an incident after the last hurdle down the back involving Tell Me Annie, ridden by L. Quinlan, Jaime Sommers, ridden by B. Hayes, and Pravalaguna (FR), ridden by P. Townend, where it appeared Pravalaguna (FR) ran short of room on the inner. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards found L. Quinlan in breach of Rule 214 by riding improperly and having taken his record into account suspended him for 3 race days.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Count Simon, trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to have a wound on his left foreleg and was sore port race.

210D Adare Manor Opportunity M'dn H'dle

P.A. Gallagher, rider of Aileens Joy trained by John M.Burke, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount gurgled.

210F Marymount Hospice Charity H'cap H'dle

L.P. Gilligan, rider of Circling Moon trained by Oliver McKiernan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount jumped poorly throughout.

K.J. Brouder, rider of Cerealice (FR) trained by Keith Henry Clarke, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount struck into himself and pulled up.

Gavin Peter Brouder, rider of Double Take trained by Ian O'Connor, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount went wrong behind and pulled up.

The Stewards requested a report from Ray Hackett, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Nibblers Charm, placed first, as compared with its recent form. The trainer reported that jumping has been an issue with this horse in the past and he had a habit of plunging at his hurdles. He was advised by a previous rider to remove the hood and ride him more prominently in future. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the explanation offered.

The Stewards interviewed A.J.Martin, trainer, in relation to the late withdrawal of Luis Van Zandt which was withdrawn 8 minutes before the official off time of this race. Evidence was heard from the trainer concerned who stated that he had wished to withdraw the horse earlier but it had taken time to consult with all the owners. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards noted the explanation offered.

210G Enjoy AfternoonTea At Cork INH Flat Race

Mr J.M. Burke, rider of Toms Courage trained by John M.Burke, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount pulled too hard.

Mr N. Moore, rider of Sweet Sting, trained by Michael J. Bowe, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount jinked at the start, losing ground.
