The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

A.P.O'Brien, trainer of Globe Theatre (USA) (Off feed) - €200

076A Irish Stallion Farms EBF Median Auc M'dn

At the request of the Stewards, C.T. Keane, rider of Scorched Earth, trained by G.M.Lyons, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount momentarily panicked in the closing stages.

076B Racing Home For Easter Festival H'cap

At the request of the Stewards, W.J. Lee, rider of The Names Jock, trained by John E. Kiely, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that he had to check his mount in running.

The Stewards interviewed A.C. Persse, rider of Syrena, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that A.C. Persse was in breach of Regulation 10.3(g) in that he had used his whip with excessive frequency. Having taken his previous record in this regard into account, the Stewards cautioned A.C. Persse.

The Stewards interviewed H.J. Horgan, rider of Aaron Boy, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned in the presence of Joseph O'Brien, trainer, who accompanied H.J. Horgan. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that H.J. Horgan was in breach of Regulation 10.3(h) in that he used his whip with the arm above shoulder height. Having taken his previous record in this regard into account, the Stewards suspended H.J. Horgan for 1 raceday.

A.J. Farragher, rider of Annie Fior trained by B.A.Murphy, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount did not get a clear run.

The Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages involving Marshall Jennings, ridden by T.P. Madden, Tintoretto, ridden by N.G. McCullagh and Annie Fior, ridden by A.J. Farragher, where it appeared Tintoretto ran short of room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that A.J. Farragher was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly. Having taken his previous record in this regard into account, the Stewards cautioned A.J. Farragher on this occasion.

The Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages involving Karawaan, ridden by C.T. Keane, Spiorad Saoirse (GB), ridden by B.M. Coen and Port Lions, ridden by W.M. Lordan, where it appeared Spiorad Saoirse(GB) ran short of room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned, in the presence of Ms. Sheila Lavery, who accompanied B.M. Coen. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards took no further action other than to advise B.M. Coen to ride with more awareness in future.

At the request of the Stewards, O.J. Orr, rider of Asdaa, trained by D. K. Weld, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount met with unintentional interference in the closing stages.

The Stewards fined P.J.Hassett, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Happy Company, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards ordered the withdrawal of Happy Company in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90.

076G Join Us Here Again Tomorrow M'dn

The Stewards granted permission for a flag start in this race following consultation with the Clerk of the Course, Mr. T.V. O'Connel and the Starter, Mr D. Cullen.

At the request of the Stewards, O.J. Orr, rider of Kefallonia, trained by Edward Lynam, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount ran keen early on and emptied in the straight.
