The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

The Stewards informed Joseph Patrick O'Brien, trainer, that Giustino (GB), would have to be recertified before being declared to run from stalls again.

T.E. Whelan, rider of Giustino (GB) trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was unruly in the stalls.

W.T. Byrne, rider of Gregory's Gift trained by Seamus Fahey, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount missed the break.

Siobhan Rutledge, rider of Max's Dandy trained by John C. McConnell, reported to the Clerk of Scales that her mount hung left.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Starlight Red, trained by Leanne Breen, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be coughing but otherwise post race normal.

O.J. Orr, rider of Starlight Red trained by Leanne Breen, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount stopped quickly in the straight.

W.J. Lee, rider of Raffaello trained by W. McCreery, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount leaned left from half way up the straight.

The Stewards requested a report from Kevin Thomas Coleman, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Swiss Army Officer, placed first, as compared with its most recent run. Kevin Thomas Coleman stated that his charge handles most ground types but felt that his previous disappointing runs have all come when the ground is tacky and holding as it was at Tipperary on its most recent run on the third of October. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the explanation given.

290C2 Mallow H'cap

S. Foley, rider of Autumn Mist trained by John Joseph Murphy, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount leaned right under pressure.

The Stewards requested a report from John Joseph Murphy, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Autumn Mist, placed first, as compared with its recent form. George Murphy, authorised representative for the trainer stated that his charge had found the ground too heavy on its recent runs and that the better ground today had helped to bring about the apparent improvement in form when compared to its recent runs. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the explanation given.

290D Fermoy (Fillies) Maiden

At the request of the Stewards, G.F. Carroll, rider of Spring Morning, trained by Yvonne Latta, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount ran keen early on and then got tired in the straight.

W.J. Lee, rider of Parisienne Ways trained by W. McCreery, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount ran too keen.

290E Cork H'cap

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined We'll Go Again, trained by Andrew Kinirons, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be coughing but otherwise post race normal.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Loingseoir, trained by M.C. Grassick, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

R. P. Whelan, rider of Longoddson (FR) trained by Augustine Leahy, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was keen throughout.

The Stewards requested a report from Michael William O'Meara, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Noble Music (GER), placed first, as compared with its recent form. Michael William O'Meara stated that his charge found the ground too testing on its previous run at Punchestown on the third of September and it appreciated the better ground today. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the explanation given.

290F1 Dromahane H'cap

A.C. Persse, rider of Monsieur Piquer (FR) trained by Christian Delcros, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung right in the straight.

At the request of the Stewards, C.T. Keane, rider of Marvel Fan (FR), trained by A.J.Martin, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that he had to momentarily check his run while the horse in front of him was dropping back out of contention.
