150A(i) Marlfield Opportunity M'dn H'dle (Division One)

The Stewards ordered the withdrawal of Dothislikethis, trained by John C. McConnell, for failing to comply with the provisions of Rule 90 (i)(late to present animal).

At the request of the Stewards, E. Walsh, rider of Awbeg Willow, trained by Paul O'Flynn, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was flat out early, on what he felt was quick ground and then stayed on.

G.B. Noonan, rider of Nelliefern trained by Paul O'Flynn, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount did not jump great or come down the hill well before staying on one paced.

150A(ii) Marlfield Opportunity M'dn H'dle (Division Two)

The Stewards ordered the withdrawal of The Holmeister, trained by Michael P. Hourigan, for failing to comply with the provisions of Rule 90 (i)(late to present animal).

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Just Waterville trained by C.P. Donoghue was found to have blood at the nostrils post race.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Tucson (GB), trained by J.P. Flavin, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to have blood at the nostrils post race.

A.P. Kelly, rider of Just Waterville trained by C.P. Donoghue, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount ran keen and hung right throughout.

S.D. Torrens, rider of Tucson (GB) trained by J.P. Flavin, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount burst a blood vessel.

G.P. Brouder, rider of Uppertown Mya trained by Mary Ellen Doyle, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was very green and jumped big and slow.

The Stewards enquired into the running and riding of Gallic Boy, ridden by W.J. Gleeson, and trained by John O. Clifford. Evidence was heard from the rider and trainer concerned. W.J. Gleeson, stated that his instructions were to drop his mount in and get it to settle. John O. Clifford stated that his charge can be keen and bolted through the field at Punchestown on the 29th of May and he confirmed the instructions given. The Stewards also received a report from the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer who stated that Gallic Boy was post race normal. Samples were taken for further analysis. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards noted the explanations given.

150B Suir Blueway Mares H'cap H'dle

The Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages of this race involving Heliers Bay, ridden by M.J. Bolger, placed sixth and Capel At Dawn, ridden by B. Browne, placed fifth, where it appeared that Heliers Bay got tight for room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. M. J. Bolger stated that his mount was not taking him forward, he did not have to stop riding and the incident made no difference to his finishing position. B. Browne stated that he was aware that Mr. Bolger was on his inner and could see that his run was over. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards took no further action other than to remind B. Browne to ride with more awareness in the future.

150C Orchard Thieves (QR) H'cap H'dle

Mr P.W. Mullins, rider of Toughari trained by Thomas Mullins, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount lost its action.

The Stewards requested a report from P.G. Fahey, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Diggin Deep, placed first, as compared with its recent form. P.G. Fahey stated that the application of first time blinkers and tongue tie over a longer trip had helped to bring about the apparent improvement in form. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the explanation given.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Toughari, trained by Thomas Mullins, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Inviction, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to have an over reach but to be otherwise post race normal.

A.J. McNamara, trainer of Lessofdnegativity, reported to the Office of the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board that his charge made a respiratory noise and was also struck into in running.

150D Camida Beginners S'chase

J.B. Foley, rider of Hand It Over trained by P. Corkery, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount made an abnormal respiratory noise coming down the hill.

150E Orchard Thieves Beginners S'chase

D.J. McInerney, rider of Bonnie Kellie trained by S. Curling, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount did not handle todays going.

150F Clonmel Show Opportunity H'cap S'chase

At the request of the Stewards, S.D. Torrens, rider of Filon D'oudairies (FR), trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount screwed out over the first.

At the request of the Stewards, H. Morgan, rider of Tiantu, trained by Paul Power, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was very badly hampered by a faller in front of him.

At the request of the Stewards, T. Ryan, rider of Kitten Rock (FR), trained by E.J. O'Grady, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was struggling to go the early pace and he took back when things got tight in front of him at the first.

150G Ir Stall Farms EBF (M)(PA) INH Flat Race

Sarah Kavanagh, rider of Ramble On Muller trained by P.A. Fahy, reported to the Clerk of Scales that her saddle slipped on the first circuit.
