The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

Joseph Patrick O'Brien, trainer of That's No Joke (off feed) - €200

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

D. McMonagle replaced D.P. McDonogh on Askalon (GER), trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien (Race 2)(intended mount a non runner)

181A Meath Farm Machinery Claiming Race

The Raceday Stewards received a report from the Clerk of the Scales, that S. Coen, rider of In The Minus, had presented to weigh out at 3.6lbs overweight, having declared a possible 2lbs over at declaration time. Evidence was heard from the rider and Sean Davis, trainer. S. Coen stated that he was aware of having to lose weight and intended to do this by running the track but got held up in traffic. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards allowed S. Coen to ride In The Minus on this occasion but they were satisfied that he was in breach of Rule 198(vii)(a) and having considered his clean record in this regard, they fined S. Coen €150.

The Raceday Stewards informed John C. McConnell, trainer, that Knockmore Prince would have to be recertified before being declared to run from stalls again.

181B Irish EBF Median Sires Series (C&G) M'dn

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined World Tour, trained by A.P.O'Brien, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to have been struck into on its right hind but was otherwise post race normal.

J.A. Heffernan, rider of Whatchadoin, trained by Josh Halley, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount had only one eye and it didn't make any difference when he had to sit momentarily.

Mrs John Harrington, trainer of Rolltight, reported to the Clerk of Scales that her charge scoped dirty on endoscopic examination post race.

181C Smiths Of Drogheda Ford Classic H'cap

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Heliogabalus, trained by Sean Byrne, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

R.C. Colgan, rider of La La Lucrative, trained by Matthew J. Smith, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got upset in the stalls.

C.D. Fahy, rider of Loaded Quiver (GB), trained by John C. McConnell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount lost its action in the closing stages.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident at the top of the hill involving Albion Power, ridden by P. McGettigan, unplaced, and Mythical Rock, ridden by L.T. McAteer, placed fifth, where it appeared L.T. McAteer had to sit for a few strides. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

The Raceday Stewards advised H.Rogers, trainer of Marianne North, that a repeat performance from his charge who refused to race may render the animal liable to a suspension in the future.

Adam Caffrey, rider of Marianne North, trained by H.Rogers, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount refused to race.

181D Landy, Muldoon & Co M'dn

N.M. Crosse, rider of Turners Cross, trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount didn't handle the track.

181E Golden Kilowatt H'cap

J. Kearney, rider of Lismacbryan Hill, trained by Patrick Magee, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount went left inside the last half furlong.

Adam Caffrey, rider of She's Smart, trained by Adrian McGuinness, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount got no run.

181F Irish Stallion Farms EBF (Fillies) M'dn

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident close to the line involving Radar Ahead (GB), ridden by R. Whearty, placed third, and Jannah Star, ridden by D. McMonagle, placed second, where it appeared R. Whearty had to sit momentarily. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident at the top of the hill involving Gifted, ridden by W.M. Lordan, placed fourth, Juniper Sling, ridden by J.J.G. Ryan, placed fifth, and Sea Coral (FR), ridden by K.G. Kennedy, placed first, where it appeared K.G. Kennedy had to sit momentarily. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

181G Dore & Co. Solicitors H'cap

N.M. Crosse, rider of Goddaughter, trained by T.G.McCourt, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung badly right throughout.
