The Stewards enquired into possible interference inside the final 100 yards involving Tai Sing Yeh, ridden by C.T. Keane, placed third, Helen De Pourtales, ridden by W.J. Lee, placed second, and Guessthebill, ridden by B.M. Coen, placed fourth, where it appeared horses got tight for room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. B.M. Keane stated that his horse was getting tired coming to the road but he kept relatively straight to the line. W.J. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the Judge's placings and took no further action.
