168A John Madden & Sons App. Claiming Race

D. McMonagle, rider of Shaky Operator (USA) trained by Gerard O'Leary, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right throughout and became unbalanced at the top of the hill.

The Stewards informed Joseph Patrick O'Brien, trainer that Gambe Veloci, would have to be recertified before being declared to run from stalls again.

168B Irish Stallion Farms EBF M'dn

C.D. Hayes, rider of Silent Prayer (GB), trained by D. K. Weld, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount got unbalanced on the home bend and rolled left. Subsequently the Stewards reviewed the video footage and took no further action.

168C Bay Leaf H'cap

S.D. Bowen, rider of Easky Maid trained by Edward P. Mitchell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was awkward out of stalls.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Pessoa (GB), trained by John Joseph Murphy, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

168D Treacy's Pharmacies H'cap

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Dane Fete, trained by Gavin Cromwell, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

N.M. Crosse, rider of Welcoming (FR) trained by Luke Comer, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left throughout.

168E Eamon Sheridan Groundworks M'dn

C.D. Hayes, rider of Harrier Fighter trained by Luke Comer, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount jumped awkwardly from the stalls.

168F Irish Stallion Farms EBF (Fillies) H'cap

The Stewards enquired into possible interference on the home turn and in the straight involving Secret Sea, ridden by W.J. Lee, placed third, and Willesee (GB), ridden by S. Foley, placed second, where it appeared both horses made contact numerous times. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. W.J. Lee stated that he received a bump from his inner on the bend. S. Foley stated that that his filly ran off the bend despite his best efforts to keep her straight. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that while Willesee had caused interference to Secret Sea she did not improve his finishing position as a result of this interference so they made no alteration to the Judge’s placings and took no further action.

W.J. Lee, rider of Secret Sea trained by Eoin Doyle, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got carried left in the straight.

S. Foley, rider of Willesee (GB) trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung off the home bend and hung left in the straight.

168G GAIN The Advantage Series H'cap

The Stewards enquired into an incident on the home bend involving Pike County, ridden by M.A. Enright and Golden Sandbanks (GB), ridden by W.J. Lee, where it appeared Pike Country took the ground of Golden Sandbanks. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. M.A. Enright stated that he switched out to mount his challenge. W.J. Lee stated that his challenge was finished when he took a precautionary check. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards took no further action.

D. McMonagle, rider of Beer With The Boys (GB) trained by C. Moore, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left for the first half of the race.
