Mr.  A.L.T.  Moore  /  Rambling  Royal  Referral
Cork,  8th  April,  2007.

The Referrals Committee, Dr. Gordon A. Holmes (in the Chair), Mrs. J.O. Onions and Mr. Charles Cunningham, met at the Stand House Hotel, The Curragh, Co. Kildare, on Tuesday, 19th June, 2007, to consider a referral from the Acting Stewards at Cork on 8th April, 2007, when following the running of the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Beginners Steeplechase, the Stewards wished to hold an enquiry into the poor performance of “Rambling Royal”, trained by Mr. Moore, but were unable to conduct the enquiry because Mr. M. Yamamoto who presented himself on behalf of the Trainer was not a registered Authorised Representative.

The Committee, having considered a written submission from Mr. Moore, imposed a sixty day suspension on the horse, “Rambling Royal”, and they imposed a fine of €250 on Mr. Moore for breach of Rule 147 (vi).

The case was presented to the Committee by Mr. Brian Price of Wilkinson and Price Solicitors, South Main Street, Naas, Co. Kildare.
