Gigginstown House Stud appeal is withdrawn

The Turf Club has announced that the appeal lodged by Gigginstown House Stud against the decision of the Stewards at Fairyhouse on 20th November 2013 when, prior to the running of the Premier Jump Weekend Hurdle, trainer Willie Mullins was fined €200 and their horse Devils Bride was suspended for two days, has been withdrawn. The penalties were imposed by the Fairyhouse Stewards as they did not accept the excuse of “change of ground” as a valid reason for their withdrawal of Devils Bride from the above race.
