The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

J.J. Slevin rode Dry Run (reserve) , trained by Yvonne Latta (Race 2)
Mr.F.Maguire replaced Mr D. Roche on Love N' Peace, trained by Francis J. Flood (Race 8)(unwell)

064A Welcome To Wexford Rated Novice H'dle

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Vinnie Luck, trained by Michael Winters, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be blowing hard post race.

064B Springtime In Wexford M'dn H'dle

The Stewards enquired into an incident before the turn into the straight involving Getaway Kid, ridden by G.N. Fox, Political Theatre, ridden by D. Meyler, Nanny Stone, ridden by J.W. Kennedy, and White Lilac, ridden by D. Robinson, where it appeared that White Lilac ran out of racing room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that the incident was accidental and took no further action.

T.J. Taaffe, trainer of Nanny Stone, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his charge lost a hind shoe and displaced another in running.

064D1 Slaney Estuary H'cap H'dle

The Stewards requested a report from Garrett James Power, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Balinaboola, placed first, as compared with its recent form. The trainer reported that his charge disappointed on his last start at Punchestown over 2m4f on heavy ground. He added that today's drop in trip on better ground helped his charge return to form. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the explanation offered.

B. Hayes, rider of Silent Sun (GB), trained by James Daniel Dullea, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount made a bad mistake and lost his action behind.

Rachael Blackmore, rider of Rock On Lilly trained by T. Donohue, reported to the Clerk of Scales that her mount stopped quickly.

064D2 Slaney Estuary H'cap H'dle

The Stewards enquired into an incident before the turn into the straight involving Ciankyle, ridden by M.J. Bolger,unseated, Killahara Castle, ridden by M.P. Burke, placed second, All In The Head, ridden by R. Loughran, placed first, Time Is Time, ridden by A. McCurtin, fell, and Northern Emperor, ridden by R.P. Treacy, unseated. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that R.Loughran was in breach of Rule 214, in that he rode carelessly and having considered his clean record, suspended him for three race days.

A. McCurtin, rider of Time Is Time trained by David Richard Barry, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount clipped heels and fell.

064E Vinegar Hill Beginners S'chase

Owing to the low lying sun, the Stewards granted permission for the last and second last fences to be omitted.

064F Boolavogue H'cap S'chase

P.T. Enright, rider of Moss Grove trained by Robert Tyner, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled and was pulled up.

064G Irish Stall. Farms EBF (M) INH Flat Race

Miss K. Harrington, rider of Wings Like Arion, trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that her mount stumbled and fell independently.
