The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

J.J. Fitzpatrick rode Night Sir (reserve) , trained by Ms Helen P.Markham (Race 7)
Ms L. O'Neill rode Positive Thinking (reserve) , trained by Paul Nolan (Race 8)
Mr J.C. Gainford replaced Mr T. Power Roche on Stellador, trained by Moses McCabe (Race 8)(Stewards permission)
J.W. Kennedy rode Eddies Pride (reserve) , trained by Norman Lee (Race 1)

086A Coast Kilmore Quay (Mares) M'dn H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Patriciadplasterer, trained by Miss Elizabeth Doyle, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

086C1 Coast Rosslare Strand H'cap H'dle

C.D. Maxwell, rider of No Way Jack trained by Patrick Martin, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount stopped quickly before the second last hurdle.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined No Way Jack, trained by Patrick Martin, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

086C2 Coast Rosslare Strand H'cap H'dle

C.D. Maxwell, rider of Saint Irini trained by E. D. Delany, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount disliked the ground and pulled up.

086D Vinegar Hill H'cap H'dle

The Stewards interviewed C.A. Landers, rider of An Fraoch Mor, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that C.A. Landers was in breach of R10(3)(g) by using his whip with excessive frequency and R10(3)(i) by failing to allow his mount at least three strides to respond to the whip. Having taken his previous record into consideration, the Stewards cautioned C.A. Landers.

The Stewards interviewed L. Quinlan, rider of Cloudy Morning, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that L. Quinlan was in breach of R10(3)(g) by using his whip with excessive frequency and R10(3)(i) by failing to allow his mount at least three strides to respond to the whip. Having taken his previous record into consideration, the Stewards cautioned L. Quinlan.

B. Hayes, rider of Isabel's Gold trained by John Queally, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled during this race.

086E Freddie Doyle Memorial Beg S'chase

The Stewards enquired into an incident after the last fence involving Overbury Prince, ridden by P.T. Enright, placed third, Song Of The Sky (GB), ridden by J.J. Slevin, placed second and Roney, ridden by B.J. Cooper, placed fourth, where it appeared that Roney ran short of room and checked. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that the incident was accidental in nature and took no further action.

086F Eoin O'Gorman Solicitors H'cap S'chase

R.A. Doyle, rider of Enduring Love trained by P.J. Rothwell, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was pulled up after making a bad mistake.

K.M. Donoghue, rider of Toosey (GB) trained by Gavin Cromwell, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was pulled up having burst a blood vessel.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Toosey (GB), trained by Gavin Cromwell, at the request of the Stewards and reported that the animal was found to have blood on the nose as a result of exercise induced pulmonary haemorrhage.
