The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Schmidt, trained by Henry de Bromhead, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

002B Kilbarry Lodge Stud Diamond Boy Hcap Hdl

R.P. Treacy, rider of Lady Mona Lisa trained by E.Sheehy, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount tired quickly.

002C Curran South East Cleaners M'dn H'dle

Denis Hickey, trainer of Mag Brady, reported to the office of the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board on Tuesday 2nd January that his charge was found to be distressed post race.

002D Ryan's Racecourse Services H'cap Hdle

P.F. Mangan, rider of Conna Cross trained by James Joseph Mangan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount stopped quickly at the top of the hill.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Conna Cross, trained by James Joseph Mangan, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

002E Savills 'A Different Outlook' S'chase

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Lord Scoundrel, trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be stiff post race.

002F Ani-Pets Veterinary Rated Novice S'chase

The Stewards requested a report from Paul Nolan, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Peculiar Genius, placed first, as compared with its recent form. James Nolan, authorised representative of the trainer, reported that Peculiar Genius had made a very bad mistake on his previous run and his rider on the day pulled him up thereafter, as he had lost all confidence. He said his charge was well schooled since that run and he felt this had attributed to the improved performance. Having considered the report, the Stewards noted the explanation offered.

002G Tom Carroll Memorial H'cap S'chase

M.A. Enright, rider of Town Pond trained by Peter L. Kavanagh, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount tired quickly.
