The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

C.T. Keane rode Invernata (FR) (reserve) , trained by John James Feane (Race 4)
W.J. Lee rode Sea's Aria (reserve) , trained by Denis Gerard Hogan (Race 7)

222A Ashtown House Stud EBF (Fillies) M'dn

The Stewards received a report from A. Tyrrell, MRCVS, Turf Club Veterinary Officer, concerning the fact that the vaccinations contained in the Passport for Spirit Of The Rain, trained by Andrew Slattery, were incorrect for the second successive occasion. In accordance with Rule 90 the Stewards ordered the withdrawal of Spirit Of The Rain and fined the trainer €350

Michael G. Kennedy, trainer of Touch Of Gold, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his charge scoped wrong post race.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Sevilla (GB), at the request of trainer, John Joseph Murphy, and reported the animal post race normal.

222C Dan Cowman Memorial M'dn

S. Foley, rider of I'm All You Need trained by Paul Nolan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount lost its action last 100 yards.

222E Assembly Techniques H'cap

The Stewards enquired into possible interference in the closing stages involving My Direction (GB), ridden by L.F. Roche, placed first and Landsman, ridden by C.T. Keane, placed second. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Miss Ellmarie Holden, trainer of My Direction, also attended this enquiry. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the Judge's placings and took no further action.

222F Assembly Techniques H'cap

C.T. Keane, rider of Magnetic Force trained by Robert Alan Hennessy, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung right.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Captain Carleton, trained by Adrian Paul Keatley, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

L.F. Roche, rider of Captain Carleton, trained by Adrian Paul Keatley, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount ran flat.

222G Strand Inn H'cap

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Isabella Liberty (FR), trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

L.F. Roche, rider of Gold Class (GB) trained by Robert Alan Hennessy, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled and pulled up.
