The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

J.W. Kennedy replaced P.D. Kennedy on Eclat Du Large (FR), trained by Michael G. Kennedy (Race 3)(Unwell)

101B(i) Ryans Cleaning Event Specialists Hcp Hdl (Division One)

D.E. Mullins, rider of Pivotal Flame trained by W.J.Lanigan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount felt lame after the third last hurdle and was pulled up.

The Stewards enquired into possible interference near the finish involving Fu's Island, ridden by K.J. Brouder, placed fifth and Divin Desir (FR), ridden by A.W. Short, placed fourth, where it appeared that Fu's Island clipped a heel and stumbled. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the Judges placings. They did, however, advise both K.J. Brouder and A.W. Short to ride with more care.

101B(ii) Ryans Cleaning Event Specialists Hcp Hdl (Division Two)

The Stewards enquired into possible interference between the last hurdle and the winning post involving Chestnut Brave, ridden by S.W. Flanagan, placed second and Madaboy Cross, ridden by K.J. Brouder, placed first, where it appeared that Malaboy Cross drifted towards Chestnut Brave and made contact. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the Judges placings. They were, however, of the opinion that interference was caused by K.J. Brouder riding carelessly, this being a breach of Rule 214. Having taken his previous record into consideration, the Stewards suspended K.J. Brouder for 1 raceday.

J.W. Kennedy, rider of Eclat Du Large (FR) trained by Michael G. Kennedy, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was pulled up having made three bad mistakes on ground that was possibly too fast for him.

C.J. Orr, rider of Just Another Lady trained by V. T. O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung right throughout before being pulled up.

101B1 Ryans Cleaning Event Specialists Hcp Hdl

W.J.Lanigan, trainer of Pivotal Flame, reported to the Office of the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board that his charge spread a plate during this race.

101C Tipperary Racecourse H'cap S'chase

D. Meyler, rider of Stoughan Cross trained by Thomas Gibney, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount pulled up lame.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Stoughan Cross, trained by Thomas Gibney, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Rock Road, trained by Michael J. Bowe, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

101D Berkshire @ Kedrah House Stud Beg. S'ch

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Dawn Raider trained by Patrick G.Kelly was found to have blood on the nose as a result of exercise induced pulmonary haemorrhage.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Western Honour, trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

J.W. Kennedy, rider of Western Honour trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount jumped violently to the right during this race.

Owing to the low lying sun, the Stewards granted permission for fence # 3 and 4 to be omitted from all circuits of this race

101E Glenview & Rathbarry Stud Nov.Hunter Sch

Owing to the low lying sun, the Stewards granted permission for fence # 3 and 4 to be omitted from all circuits of this race.

101F p2p.ie (Mares) Pt-To-Pt INH Flat Race

The Stewards received a report from the Clerk of the Scales, Ms. Avena O'Keeffe, that Mr C. Cullinan, rider of Bitofalright, had failed to weigh in having finished sixth. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who stated that he was unaware that he was required to weigh in having finished sixth. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards disqualified Bitofalright in accordance with the provisions of Rule 230 (ii). The Stewards also found Mr C. Cullinan to be in breach of Rule 227 (i) and cautioned him having taken his previous record into consideration. Furthermore they also reminded him to familiarise himself with the rules relevant to weighing in procedures.

101G p2p.ie (C&G) Pt-To-Pt INH Flat Race

The Stewards interviewed Mr J.W. Hannon, rider of The Secret One (GB), concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that Mr J.W. Hannon was in breach of R10(3)(h) by using his whip with his arm above shoulder height. Having considered his previous record, the Stewards cautioned Mr J.W. Hannon.

The Stewards interviewed Mr S. Cavanagh, rider of Top Man, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that Mr S. Cavanagh was in breach of R10(3)(i) by failing to give his mount three strides to respond to the whip. Having considered his previous record, the Stewards cautioned Mr S. Cavanagh.
