The Stewards enquired into the apparent improvement in form of Dash D'or, trained by Kieran P. Cotter, placed, first compared with its recent form. Evidence was heard from the trainer concerned and from C.P. Hoban rider of Dash D'or, who had also rode the animal on his previous run at Navan on May 18th when finishing last of eight runners. Mr. Cotter reported that his charge can be a difficult sort despite having plenty of ability and expressed his disappointment with the performance of Dash D'or at Navan when tiring in the closing stages. He could offer no reason for this poor run other than it may have come too soon following her withdrawal at Naas a week earlier, when the animal got upset in the stalls. He added that following a break, he ran his charge without a tongue tie today but was unsure if this was a contributing factor, but felt the first time application of a rubber bit may have helped to bring about the apparent improvement in form. C.P. Hoban confirmed the characteristics of Dash D'or and stated that his mount had got tired underneath him in the closing stages at Navan and had no more to give. Evidence was also heard from Mr. Garry O'Gorman, Senior Rules of Racing Handicapper, who outlined the previous form of Dash D'or and was of the view that today's win had brought about a significant improvement on the animals last run. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the explanations offered.

The Stewards enquired into an incident passing the stands with a circuit to go involving Alcander (FR), ridden by K.J. Manning, and Yo Tambien (GB), ridden by A.J. Slattery, where it appeared Yo Tambien (GB) ran short of room and struck the rail. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that the incident was accidental in nature and took no further action.
