276A Follow Tipperary On Facebook (M) Mdn Hdl

R.L. Brennan, rider of Barrow Valley trained by Thomas Mullins, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount burst a bloood vessel. Barrow Valley was subsequently examined by the Turf Club Veterinary Officer at the request of the Stewards, who reported the animal to have blood on the nose as a result of exercise induced pulmonary haemorrhage.

M.P. Walsh, rider of Shantilly Lace trained by Ronald O'Leary, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount burst a blood vessel. Shantilly Lace was subsequently examined by the Turf Club Veterinary Officer at the request of the Stewards, who reported the animal to have blood on the nose as a result of exercise induced pulmonary haemorrhage.

276B Join Tipperary Supp Club (C&G) M'dn H'dl

S.W. Flanagan, rider of Keep Rocking trained by James Kieran King, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount lost its action and was pulled up thereafter.

276C Tipperary Races On Twitter H'cap H'dle

E. O'Connell, rider of Be My Vinnie, trained by Eamonn O'Connell, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount stumbled at the seven furlong bend.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Lockeen Girl trained by Thomas Mullins was found to be distressed post race.

276F Tipperary H'cap S'chase

The Stewards interviewed C.A. Landers, rider of Cnoc Na Sioga, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that the rider was in breach of Regulation 10.3.(f) in that he had used his whip with excessive frequency. Having taken his previous record in this regard into account, the Stewards suspended him for 1 raceday.

276G Season Finale INH Flat Race

The Stewards interviewed Mr T. Hamilton, rider of Spike Alen, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that the rider was in breach of Regulation 10.3(b) in that he had used his whip after his chance of winning or being placed had clearly gone. Having taken his previous record in this regard into account, the Stewards suspended him for 2 racedays
