The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

D.E. Sheehy rode Alpine Queen (reserve) , trained by David Kenneth Budds (Race 4)

243B Camas Park Stud Irish EBF (Fillies) M'dn

W.J. Lee, rider of Chamrousse, trained by W. McCreery, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was slowly away, could not get a clear run until the turn in and stayed on in the closing stages.

The Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages involving Nailed On Nina, ridden by K.J. Leonard, placed first and Villa Maria (GB), ridden by S.P. Davis, placed third. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards took no further action.

Edward Lynam, trainer of Goneinsixtyseconds (GB), reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his charge was found to have bled from one nostril about one hour after her race.

243D Coolmore Stud Fairy Bridge Stakes

D.P. McDonogh, rider of Sorelle Delle Rose trained by D. K. Weld, reported to the Clerk of Scales that he checked his mount in the straight.

The Stewards enquired into possible interference in the closing stages involving One Master (GB), ridden by C. O'Donoghue, placed first, Dan's Dream (GB), ridden by W.J. Lee, placed second, Lightening Quick (GB), ridden by C.T. Keane, unplaced, Ship Of Dreams, ridden by W.M. Lordan, placed third, Sometimesadiamond, ridden by K.J. Manning, unplaced, Sorelle Delle Rose, ridden by D.P. McDonogh, unplaced and I Can Fly (GB), ridden by D. O'Brien, placed fifth where it appeared some runners met with interference. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the Judge's placings. They were, however, of the opinion that W.J. Lee was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly. Having taken his previous record into consideration, the Stewards cautioned him.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Could It Be Love (USA), trained by A.P.O'Brien, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be lame post race.

243E Kilfrush Stud Abergwaun Stakes

The Stewards requested a report from G.M.Lyons, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Blue Uluru, placed first, as compared with its recent form. Mr. Lyons reported that a drop back in trip to 5 furlong was the contributing factor to bring about the apparent improvement in form. Having considered the report, the Stewards noted the explanation offered.

The Stewards informed D. K. Weld, trainer that Crecerelle, would have to be recertified before being declared to run from stalls again.

The Stewards fined E.Sheehy, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Majestic Dooneen, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards ordered the withdrawal of Majestic Dooneen in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90 (iv).
