The Stewards enquired into an incident in the home straight involving Plough Boy, ridden by R.P. Downey, placed first, Stoichkhov, ridden by C.D. Hayes, unplaced, Refuse To Sell, ridden by L.F. Roche, unplaced and Enter The Priory, ridden by A.J. Breslin, unplaced, where it appeared interference had taken place. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that R.P. Downey was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly and having considered his record, cautioned him.

C.D. Hayes, rider of Stoichkhov trained by Michael G. Cleary, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount ran short of room in the straight.

C.D. Hayes, rider of Jealous Beauty trained by Kevin Prendergast, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled.

K.P. Moriarty, rider of Comanchie Creek trained by Albert Moriarty, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung right and ran very green.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Jealous Beauty, trained by Kevin Prendergast, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

162E Pride Of Tipperary Festival 2015 H'cap

The Stewards requested a report from W. McCreery, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Tylery Wonder, placed first, as compared with its most recent run at the Curragh on June 28th, when finishing 19th of 21 runners and was beaten by 14 lengths. The trainer reported that his charge is a very quirky horse that lost interest quickly at the Curragh in a large field of runners, in a race that started off at a very strong pace. He felt that the pace of todays race, with fewer runners, had brought about todays improved performance. Having considered the report, the Stewards noted it's content.

P.J. Smullen, rider of Sea Red, trained by H.Rogers, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount got tired in the straight and may not have acted on the ground.
