The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

M.D. O'Callaghan, trainer of Now Or Never (ground) - €200

237A Camas Park Stud EBF M'dn

The Stewards fined T. Stack, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Son Of Rest (GB), in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards allowed the horse to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the vaccinations were in order.

The Stewards interviewed D. O'Brien, rider of More Kudos (USA), concerning his use of the whip in this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that the rider was in breach of Regulation 10.3(g), in that he used the whip with the arm above shoulder height and having considered his record, suspended him for two race days.

237D Coolmore Stud Fairy Bridge Stakes

The Stewards requested a report from D. K. Weld, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Tanaza, placed first, as compared with its recent form. The trainer's representative, Kris Weld, reported that his charge disappointed on her last start at the Curragh when she was badly drawn and ran free. He added that today's drop in trip helped his charge return to form. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the explanation offered.
