The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

R. P. Treacy replaced A. McCurtin on Holly Flight (FR), trained by Paul O'Flynn (Race 5)(Injured).

382A Adare Manor Opportunity H'cap Chase

A.W. Short, rider of Glenwood For Ever trained by Noel Meade, reported to the Clerk of Scales that he pulled his mount up injured.

382B(i) Colour Run Aug 10th Beg Chase (Division One)

M.A. Enright, rider of Galveston trained by Thomas Foley, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung left throughout and he pulled up.

R.P. Treacy, rider of Rudy Catrail trained by E.Sheehy, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount burst a blood vessel.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Rudy Catrail trained by E.Sheehy was found to have blood at the nose following exercised induced pulmonary haemorrhage.

The Stewards interviewed Rachael Blackmore, rider of Statistical, concerning her use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that Rachael Blackmore was in breach of Regulation 10(4) by failing to give her mount time to respond to the whip. Having taken her previous record into consideration, the Stewards suspended Rachael Blackmore for 3 racedays.

The Stewards requested a report from Miss Elizabeth Doyle, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Ri An Rian, placed first, as compared with its recent form. Miss Doyle reported that her charge got very upset travelling to Tramore last time out and was wound up as a consequence. She said Ri An Rian was accompanied travelling today with a companion and was more relaxed and settled which she feels helped to bring about the apparent improvement in form. Having considered the report, the Stewards noted the explanation offered.

B. Hayes, rider of Railway Muice trained by Miss Denise Marie O'Shea, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled throughout the race.

382B(ii) Colour Run Aug 10th Beg Chase (Division Two)

D.F. O'Regan, rider of Se Mo Laoch trained by Brian M. McMahon, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled.

A. Ring, rider of Seskin Flyer trained by Patrick Carey, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount stopped quickly and pulled up.

D.E. Mullins, rider of Wade Harper trained by P.J. Rothwell, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount made mistakes throughout the race.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Wade Harper, trained by P.J. Rothwell, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

382C Tipperary Town Plaza Plate Hcap Chase

B.J. Cooper, rider of Miss Sassie trained by Paul Nolan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount made a bad mistake at the second last and hacked home.

382D Walter Hennessy Auct Mares Beg Chase

J.W. Kennedy, rider of Mrs Lovett trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount made a mistake at the last with a circuit to go and also a mistake at the second last.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Special Diamond (GB), trained by Henry de Bromhead, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be blowing hard post race.

382E Packie Downey Memorial Rated Nov Chase

The Stewards interviewed Rachael Blackmore, rider of Classic Theatre, concerning her use of the whip in closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards found Rachael Blackmore to be in breach of Regulation 10.3(f) in that she used her whip with excessive frequency and Regulation 10.4 in that she failed to give her mount time to respond to the whip. Having considered her record in this regard, the Stewards suspended Rachael Blackmore for 5 race days and ordered her to attend RACE for 1 days tuition on the correct use of the whip.

382F Jim Ryan Racecourse ServicesH'cap Chase

E. O'Connell, rider of Checker Hill trained by John Brassil, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount pulled up lame.

A.E. Lynch, rider of Captain Cook (GER) trained by C.A.McBratney, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung badly throughout the race.
