The Stewards requested a report from Patrick J.Flynn, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Not Just Any Girl, winner, as compared with its recent form.
The trainer reported that this mare was off the track since October 2014 until she ran in Bellewstown on July 1st over almost 1 mile on heavy ground, where he felt they made too much use of her and she faded in the home straight. He then decided to step her up in trip to 1m4f in Gowran Park on July 23rd, but she didn't appear to stay the trip. He decided to give her one last chance today, and over 9f on quicker ground, appeared to bring about any apparent improvement in form.
Having considered the report, the Stewards noted the explanations offered.
